Slow Cooker Pepper Steak

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2009
I was nervous about this but it was a big hit...Nothing left in the crock pot when dinner was over...I fed 4 men and they kept dipping the serving spoon back in the pot!!! I took the following suggestions from others: 2 cans beef broth instead of bouillon, 1 green and 1 red pepper, 1 clove fresh garlic, double the soy sauce (I used light), leave out the salt, add worcestire and plenty of it, add the peppers in the last hour. Add more cornstarch or flour while cooking for thickness. And I think 3 to 4 hours on low is plenty. I'm sure I'll be asked to make this again :)

Very good and really easy to make. I did omit the water as others had said. Thank you for the great recipe. Will make again and again. :)

Classy Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2009
If I could give this 10 stars, I would! By far my favorite chicken recipe yet. I will make this for my boyfriend and I when I need a quick, easy, DELICIOUS dinner. It took me a half an hour only. Thank You! I added onions b/c I just love them, used a full cup of chicken broth as was reccomended by others and fat free sour cream. I did need extra gravy so after removing the chicken, I threw a little more wine and broth in before adding the sour cream. Delish!!! Very moist :)

New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2009
It was my first time making cheesecake and I feel like the queen of cheesecakes now thanks to you Chantal! I took suggestions from others: Double the butter in the crust. Use a reynolds oven bag over the bottom of the pan and use a water bath 1/2 way up the pan in another pan. Cook for a little over an hour so the center isn't mushy. Cool in the oven for only about 1 1/2 hours then directly to the fridge. Outrageous...boyfriend says the best he ever had - the taste, the consistency...I'm sooo happy!!!

American Lasagna

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2005
Great recipe! My first attempt at making lasagna. My boyfriend thinks I'm a great cook...thanks to this recipe I can really play it off like I am!! I took the suggestion to add extra diced tomatoes (I used another 14.5 ounces) Other than that, I like the recipe as is! Thank you:)
