Lemon Pound Cake II

I would give this recpe 5 stars for taste and how well it was received by family and friends, but we all agree this is not a pound cake so we all were expecting something else, but it is still very good and easy to make.

Mini Meatball Subs

Very easy and quick to make, I served it on hoagie rolls so I made smaller meatballs and simmered in the sauce for about an hour and they turned out great.

Meatloaf with Italian Sausage

Really good meatloaf, I used 1 1/4 lb of extra lean ground beef and 6 hot Italian sausages, about 3/4 tsp of salt and everything else as writen very nice

Thin Mint Crackers

I was making these for a Christmas and finely ground candy canes in a food processor, then i added the candy canes to the melted chocolate, it was perfect, nice and minty with a little crunch

Nice taste and texture, the cereal adds texture and interest otherwise you can't really taste it, I subbed 1 cup WW flour for white to up the nutrition otherwise followed recipe

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

We really enjoyed these cookies, they were easy to make I did just use margarine as I do not usually have shortening on hand and only 1/2 cup while sugar and added about another 1/4 cup of flour this is the level of sweetness that is good for us and it did not spread as others had problems with.

Quick, easy, tasty, next time instead of rolling out dough and overlapping ends I will make it jelly roll style so that filling is more evenly distributed

Glazed Apple Cookies

Very good, I used 2 large granny smith apples coarsley grated, margarine instead of shortening and used whole wheat flour and about 1/2 cup quick oats to make it healthier, the icing is nice but I just did a thin drizzle to keep the sweetness down.

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Great recipe to make with kids,very tasty, very easy unwrapping the peanut cups was the mase time consuming. one recomondation that i can make is to let cookies coolin pan just untill they are able to hold their shape otherwise if they are completely cold it's very hard to remove from pan.

Homemade Butter

very good, i used a 1 litter cartin of whipping cream, put it in the food processor for about 12 minutes then i used a fine mesh strainer to get all the whey out then just pushed down with the back of a spoon to really squeese out all the moisture

Peppermint Brittle

really great recipe, i made this for a cookie exchange and it was a big hit. Instead of pouring the mixture into the jelly roll pan i used a mini ice cream scoop to pour it into mini muffin cups and saved a little of the crushed canes for the top it also works well wit milk chocolate or a combination of both.

Blueberry Muffins II

really liked these muffins, they were light and tasty, but not too sweet grest for breakfast but not really a dessert muffin. I added the entire egg and a heaping teaspooon of vanilla yogourt after reading reviews saying muffins were too dry.
