Oatmeal Cookie Mix I
Being lactose intollerant it can be hard to find a good recipe for sweets. This one is awesome. It's also a good base recipe to play with. I've added cinnamon, cocoa, nutmeg, and so far have yet made a bad cookie with this recipe. The only word of warning would be that it _may_ not store great for the 8 months mentioned. It will still make great cookies, but the longer it sits, it will lose something in the end result. But that's not the fault of the recipe. Thanks for this recipe!

Chili Dog Casserole II
First off, I haven't read all the reviews. Overall, it's a nice easy recipe. It would seem, however, that quality ingredients are key to this one. I used house brand items for everything (it's what we had on hand), and the results were so so. I did modify the recipe, but not enough to make it something else. I added green onion (as some others have suggested), and only used one can of chili with beans (I used a can of plain ol' chili beans as well). Other than that, it was spot on. It's got potential, and I will try it again, but only after I get my hands on some Hormel, or preferably, Wolf's Brand.

Kangaroo Chops
I did modify this recipe a little. I omitted the corn, but added some chopped celery, mushrooms, and instead of bread crumbs used leftover cornbread. The flavor and juiciness of the pork was great! However, like many others, the potatoes were not completely done. I microwaved the chopped potatoes first, and cooked the entire thing for a little over an hour at 350. So take that into account when preparing this dish. I will try it again, as everything else was very good.
