Chocolate Lovers' Favorite Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2007
I took other reviewer's advice and used one cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips instead of two. This recipe is easy to follow and the cake is sure yummy. I also used the satiny chocolate glaze from this site.

Caramel Pecan Pie

Great and easy recipe. It tasted so good. I only use 1/3 cup of sugar and it is just perfect. I get a lot of compliments from people at work. Sure will make it again.

Fresh Apple Cake II

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2006
Easy and simple recipe! It's very moist and delicious. I like it as it is without icing, but it also tastes great with buttercream icing on it.

Bread Pudding II

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2006
This bread pudding is really easy to make and it also tasted very good. I used the Sara Lee Soft & Smooth Classic White bread and followed the recipe the way it is. Thanks for sharing this great recipe.

Chocolate Covered Cherries

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2006
The chocolate covered cherries tasted great. I got a lot of compliements on them. Everyone loved them. I used melted milk chocolate chips for the coating instead of the confectionery coating. With the listed ingredients for the dough, I could only wrap 42 cherries.

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2005
This is my first time making fudge and it tasted great. The recipe is really easy. I did follow some posters' advice to use 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate, 1 cup milk chocolate and 1 1/4 cup sugar. It came out just what I wanted. Thanks!

Savory Turkey Gravy

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2005
This gravy is very tasty. I used the drippings (about 1 cup) from the roasted turkey and 4 cups of chicken broth instead of 5 cups of turkey stock. Like other reviewers, I also have to add more flour to thicken it. I will sure make it again on every Thanksgiving to go with my turkey.

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2005
This was me and my husband's first turkey. It was a great success. The meat was very juicy and tender. I never had turkey meat that was so moist and tender like this one. We will sure make it again. We used chicken broth instead of chicken bouilon and warm water.

Fabulous Homemade Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2005
This is my first time making bread and it's a great success. I divided all the ingredients by half and used two 9x5 loaf pans instead. Otherwise, I followed the recipe straightly. With the help of the KitchenAid Accolade mixer, it made the whole process easier for a first timer like me. Both loaves baked out nicely and didn't fall. They tasted great too.
