Blueberry Scones

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2006
I took others' advice and used almost 2 1/4 c. flour, 1/4 c. white sugar in addition to the brown sugar, and 1 to 1 1/2 tsp vanilla. I thought I'd made a mistake when the dough would barely stick together, but it stuck together enough and the end result was fantastic. My British neighbor asked for the recipe. Very yummy!

Chickpea Curry

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2006
A very good curry, but could use another ingredient -- chicken, spinach, something to make it a bit less chick pea-ish. I also found it VERY spicy, although that may be because I used good cayenne. If you're a bit of a spice wimp, be sure to have plenty of plain yogurt on hand. Made this with Indian Chapati Bread from this site, which we also loved.

Nutty Wild Rice Salad with Kiwifruit and Red Grapes

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2005
This was only OK. The kiwi and grape added nice flavor, but I could not taste the dressing at all. If I make it again, I will try to add some zip to the dressing with garlic or paprika or ginger.
