Easy Garlic and Rosemary Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2007
I made several of the suggested changes, putting in chicken broth and covering with foil, and it still came out too tough. It was easy to make, but we probably won't have it again.

Spinach Pie V

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2007
The taste was good, but my filling went everywhere and the part that spilled out was inedible. I think I would also increase the spinach to cheese ratio next time.

Pan Sauce Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2007
As others mentioned, my flour/water mixture clumped up, and the cook time was far longer than needed so my chicken turned out a little tough. I will try it with a roux and shorter cook time next time, and rerate if it turns out better!

Goat Cheese Salmon

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2006
My husband and I loved this, although he likes it with just a little of the mayo/mustard topping and I like lots of it. Also, I forgot to add salt & pepper the 2nd time and I made it and it was too bland, so I'll remember those next time.

Chicken and Dumplings III

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2006
I also made this with 1 can cream of chicken and 1 can cream of celery. I used chicken broth as most of the base cooking stock and Bisquick for the dumplings. Turned out great!

Baked Ziti II

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2006
We really liked this recipe. Next time we'll probably cut it in half, because for 2 people this made way too much food! Great for an informal dinner party.

Champagne Peach Punch

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2006
This was super tasty and a hit at a baby shower I threw. I used frozen raspberries instead of a fruit ring and only used 2 bottles of champagne (my punch bowl couldn't hold any more!), and it was still tasty.

We loved this! It was super easy to prepare too. We'll definitely make it again.

Quick Spinach-Ricotta Calzones

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2005
These were not quick, but they were fairly easy. I really liked them; my fiance was not a huge fan of the crust. I followed someone else's suggestion to cook them at 350, but I think this was a little too low as they never really browned. Next time I would try 375 or 400.

Baked Orange Roughy Italian-Style

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2005
The fish came out rather soggy and the cheese flavors were a little too strong for the fish, I thought. I might use the same recipe with chicken in the future, though.

Baked Chicken with Apple Stuffing

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2005
I liked the idea of this recipe, but the apple taste was a little overwhelming. The chicken came out really tender though, so I'm modifying this recipe for further use; sadly, without the apple flavor.

Orange Coconut Salmon

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2005
I liked this; my fiance did not. He didn't like the flavor of the coconut with the salmon, but I don't like salmon much and so I loved that it disguised the flavor. The coating on the sides of my salmon did not cook well, so I think next time I will leave the egg out, since the coconut seemed to stick better anyway to the salmon without it.

I substituted chicken breasts and shortened the cooking time. This is one of our new favorite recipes!
