I added cooked dice red peppers, it added a nice taste dimension. Since Christmas is 2 weeks away it also makes it festive with the green peas and the red peppers!

Captain Crunch Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2010
YUM!! First off buy the generic brand of captain crunch ans save some $$. I threw the cereal into the food processor along with Goya Adobe Seasoned Salt With Bitter Orange. I use chicken tenders, egg washed them, threw them in the Ziploc with the cereal and seasoning..shake, shake, shake. I fried mine instead of baking to they were crunchy, not soggy. A family fave.

Slow Cooker Italian Chicken Alfredo

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2010
I made this with what I had on hand. Cream of mushroom soup instead of cream of chicken. I had an envelope of Good Seasons Mild Italian, instead of the regular Italian. I also had Neufchatel cheese. It was good, but I think you should go with the regular Italian Dressing, or at least 2 envelopes of the mild one. I adore garlic so I added more that the recipe called for. Still a keeper, I'll just follow the recipe next time.

Turkey in a Bag

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2009
My first year doing this. I forgot to add the flour and the turkey was alone in the bag. I let it stand a half hour before carving and it was so awesome!! My whole family sat there chewing with their eyes popping out of their heads!!

Greek Pizza with Spinach, Feta and Olives

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2009
Artichoke hearts were very good on this pizza, other than that it tasted like cheesy, olive loaf..or something. I'll stick to takeout.

Ultimate Party Meatballs

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2009
I just made this for dinner tonight. I got the recipe from a co-worker and she told me to use grape jelly. It still was great! I had some frozen leftover meatballs and my crock pot..couldn't have been easier! I boiled up some fettuccine, added some alfredo sauce and used it as a side dish. The kids loved the flavor of the meatball sauce mixed in with the alfredo!

Spinach Marie

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2009
This was very good. My only experience with Spinach Marie is from Old Country Buffet. Like everything else at OCB it was tasteless, but this recipe has renewed my faith in this dish, I will make it again.

Creamy Potato Pork Chop Bake

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2009
Nah, I won't make this again. The only change I made was cream of mushroom soup. The pork was barely cooked, and the potatoes were hard. Perhaps cooking times were incorrect.

Pizza Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2009
I just used more beef and more pasta, but it turned out great! My husband enjoyed it so much he was groaning from fullness, my son...well once the pepperoni and cheese was gone, he was done. I thought it was ok, nothing to write home about. I will make it again.

Italian Style Meatloaf I

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2009
Ok I veered from the original because the recipe had the basic things I had on hand. I used Italian bread crumbs, 1 teaspoon of Good Seasons Mild Italian, diced tomatoes with oregano, basil and garlic all ready in it, so I cut the basil and oregano to 1/2 teaspoon, I also used garlic powder since I had no garlic salt. My family who hates meatloaf ate this up and had it for lunch the next day! TIP: mix together the night before to get the flavors to meld.
