Monster Cookies VI

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2013
When my husband announced these were the best cookies he'd ever had, this became my new go-to! I followed another suggestion and used 2 cups quick cook oats, 2 cups old fashioned oats, and 1/2 cup flour. I had minis M n M's so I used a little over a cup of those, a cup of mini chocolate chips and another 1/2 cup of regular chocolate chips. Using an ice cream scoop worked perfectly - and they didn't spread out much at all. Super yummy though!

Slow Cooker Barbecue Goose Sandwich

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2012
I've been married to a hunter for 19 years. Now I'm the mother of hunters as well. This is the very first time I've enjoyed goose - Seriously! I doubled the recipe, and cut a head of garlic in half rather than chopping, so I would get the flavor, but could take the garlic out before serving. And, because I just couldn't believe I'd like the goose, I put a small pork roast on top of it in the crock pot. Covered the goose in chicken broth and half the pork. When it was done, I shredded it all together and guess what - liked the goose better!! Next time I'll skip the pork. Unbelievable. I want more goose! Is there a chance this would even make duck palatable?

Creamy Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2011
Easy, yummy, family pleasing - That's a 5 star recipe in my book! I added some garlic salt and ground black pepper to the mix along with 2 oz. cream cheese. Didn't have the chow mein noodles, so I used crushed tortilla chips and added shredded monterey jack cheese over top.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2008
This is the real deal - and I'm not the world's most accomplished baker (by any stretch)! My family thinks I'm brilliant for creating these fantastic cinnamon rolls! I'll bask in the glow of this recipe a few days more before I attempt anything else...usually it's hit and miss with my baking, but double up the frosting and make these babies and you've got a HIT!!

Baklava

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2008
My first attempt at Baklava was a complete success because of this recipe!! My son needed it to share with his school for a report - people were coming back for seconds and thirds! Finally had to start turning some of the old ladies away - I was afraid they'd make themselves sick!! What a wonderful recipe!

Cake Mix Cookies VI

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2008
These cookies are extremely good! Never been a fan of cake mix cookies - I am now. My 9-year-old son did most of the work and LOVED that he could do it...of course, now he's bragging that he bakes better than Mom. Actually, with these cookies, he might be right. Our only substitution was light butter instead of margerine. SUPER recipe!

Peanut Crunch Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2006
I've been enjoying allrecipes.com for a long time, but this is the first time I've HAD to write a recipe review. This super easy cake recipe is wonderful! My kids can't stay out of it, and my husband (who's not a sweet lover) keeps going back for more! I didn't have any peanuts, but I think I would exclude them anyway. I was generous with the chocolate and peanut butter chips...will probably be even more generous with them the next time. Thanks for the perfect recipe for the items I had in my pantry!
