Frank's Spicy Alabama Onion Beer Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2005
This was definitely the best chili I have ever made. I am really picky about the kinds of chili I like. It had excellent flavor. I made it with the amounts of "hot stuff" that were stated in the recipe, and it was perfect if you like some heat. It had kick, but not too overwhelmingly hot. I served it to a crowd, and they all raved about it. This will definitely be made again and again...

I love this bread! The recipe is simple and it turns out perfect every time. I always make it just as the recipe states. I've never felt like it needed any tweaking. I get many compliments on this when I share it!

Tangy Chicken Fajitas

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2005
I make this all the time! I do however use bottled italian dressing in place of the vinegar, oil and dry dressing mix. And I've learned to make sure it's drained well before cooking. I also marinate mine overnight soemtimes, and it tastes even better!

Chicken Angelo

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2006
This recipe has become a standing favorite of mine. The chicken turns out very juicy and tender. I use 2 chicken breasts since I make this for 2 people, but I still use almost a whole can of soup. I think it makes just the right amount of cheesy sauce for the chicken.

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2006
Thsi is now my go-to green bean casserole! This turned out fabulous. I loved the flavor of the sauce. I took this to a potluck dinner where our family usually has the traditional casserole. They absoultely raved about it. I got so many complements that the sauce was so much flavorful than the usual mushroom soup. I made put everything together the night before, except for the crackers. And then baked it the next day. It turned out absolutelty perfect!

I've been making this pie for a few years. I love it, and I get lots of complements on it. It has a very light texture with the spices not been too overpowering. The baking time works perfect for me.

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2007
This turned out great! I made according to recipe. The chops were tender and juicy. You could cut them with a fork, and even my 1 year old could eat them.

Chicken Breasts Stuffed with Perfection

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2007
I will definitely make this again. I followed the recipe except I used melted butter and Panko for the breadcrumb part. This dish made a great presentation. I will definitely be making this for company. The cook time was perfect for me. I did flatten the breasts since they were kind of thick.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2007
This cake turned out great! We love PB and chocolate together, so we just had to try this. And I loved using the melted chocolate chips and cream for the frosting. I will probably never use traditonal chocolate frosting again. Yummy chocolatey goodness without being too sweet. I let the melted chocolate sit in the fridge for a few hours before it was spreadable. The PB and cream cheese mixture was AWESOME as the filling. All in all the cake was very easy to make and delicious! Will definitely make again!

Sour Cream Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2010
I loved it. Normally, I hate the word moist, but since we're talking about cake, I'll say it. This cake is very moist! I made it for my son's birthday and got tons of complements on it. I baked it in one 13 x9 pan and one 9 inch round pan.

Cranberry-Black Cherry Gelatin Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2006
This did not turn out for me. I couldn't get the sour cream to mix into the jello mixture completely. The sour cream was slightly cooler than room temperature, maybe that was the problem. There were small white solid bits throught the jello. It didn't look appetizing at all. I had made this to take to a potluck dinner, and I didn't take it, because it looked awful. I tasted it later thinking that it probably tasted fine, and that the problem was just the looks. The taste wasn't great either. I normally like cranberries, but I just didn't like the texture of the cranberry sauce in the jello. I won't be making this again.
