Smothered Green Beans

I don't know when fresh green beans have ever tasted better. I did use another reviewers' suggestion and used chicken broth instead of water and therefore did not add any extra salt, but alot of fresh ground pepper. Also very good with fresh yellow squash added.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Just to add to the many other reviews, it was wonderful. The first time I made it I used frozen filets, I don't recommend it, take the time to thaw, well worth the effort. Plus I added some fresh dill. Yum! My husband loved it and I'm looking forward to making it for my mother.

Flock of Geese Chicken Salad

My southern husband found it very good and he is trying to turn his yankee bride into a southern belle. This chicken salad might have done the trick! I did add onion as another reviewer did and I think it added alot. I also spiced up the "dressing" with dill and pepper. Will make again. Very good on crackers with hot tea.

Amish White Bread

Excellent! I am happy to say that this recipe is full-proof as long as you follow the directions and have a VERY warm room to let the dough rise in. I used the laundry room while drying a load of towels. Works Great! I used breadmans' review for the kitchen-aid mixer.

Dixie Stomp Cream of Vegetable Soup

I've really enjoyed this recipe. Although I don't care for the puree version. I personally choose to use frozen asparagus and carrots, finely chopped, as well as canned potatoes (saves time). I sautee my onion in a little butter and add to the mix as stated. I do not puree due to the disturbing appearance even though it tastes fine. I also used half / half instead of cream and added potato flakes to thicken. Great recipe, always enjoyed it at The Dixie Stampede in Branson, MO.
