I began cooking 20 years ago when I got married. I wasn't interested in anything having to do with the kitchen before that!
My favorite things to cook
Just about anything except foods with certain spices such as tarragon and curry. Our family is pretty willing to experiment with new concoctions!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Everybody at my house orders their favorite cookie for Christmas. Birthday dinners custom ordered for favorite foods. BBQ Sunday dinners.
My cooking triumphs
I've written two community-style cookbooks, have been on PBS, teach cooking demonstrations to various groups and have shot a pilot for a potential cooking show!
My cooking tragedies
Just ask my family - bean soup and my first try to make pesto with DRIED basil!

Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken
Other than the baste burning a bit on the grill, my family loved this dish & it couldn't be any easier!

Pork Tenderloin with Dijon Marsala Sauce
I used Land 'O Lakes fat free half and half and waited to coat meat after it was browned and just before putting it into the oven. I took it out @ 140ºF and let it sit covered for about 5 minutes before cutting and topping with sauce.
