Awesome Honey Pecan Pork Chops

Wow, these are delicious and so simple to make. The Pecan/Honey glaze gives a nice finish to the pork chops. My family loved them. I was shocked how much flavor they had with so little prep work.

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Best stuffing I've ever had and the only stuffing ill ever make. The blend of sweet and savory favors is delicious. I followed others recommendations: sage flavored sausage (Johnsonville makes a good one), day old sourdough and rosemary breadcrumbs (found mine in the super market bakery. The recipe calls for homemade breadcrumbs, but the first two times I tried that the breadcrumbs came out as strips, not cubes. It's hard to cube bread) and extra chicken broth. I didn't use the liver or the turkey stock. This dish is beautiful when done and the sage and rosemary fill your home with a wonderful aroma.

Creole Chicken I

The final result was a greasy, mushy consistency that didn't go over well. The ingrediants were good, and the flavor was nice, but the texture was bad. I don't usually cook with Chicken Thighs/or any bone-in chicken. The chicken fell apart in the slowcooker and the result was a dish with chicken bones floating around. You had to pick through your food before you ate it. If you make this, I would recommend boneless chicken and adding the rice to your plate, not the slow cooker. Very weird recipe.

Chipotle Shrimp Tacos

Not much flavor considering all the ingrediants. The corn tortillas fell apart when I stuffed with the shrimp mixture. I added a black bean and corn pico salsa and avocado for flavor, but it was still pretty bland. I think marinating the shrimp would have helped. Not a bad meal, just not what I expected.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Incredible, simple favors that aren't too spicy. This eats more like a chili in my opinion. Very hearty. My one year old even loved it. Others were impressed with it..it looks and tastes like something you'd order at a higher end Mexican/Tex-Mex restaurant.

Incredibly authentic in flavor and texture. I added a diced cucumber as others suggested. My family likes the crunchier texture. And who doesn't love cucumbers?
