Angel Biscuits II

I don't know what I did wrong, but I believe I went exactly by the recipe. My biscuits were too "crumbly"; it was difficult to pick them up without their breaking apart. The taste was good; however, I will make again and use butter instead of shortening.

Terry's Favorite Easy Chicken Pie

This was pretty good, but even better leftover. After reading the ingredients, my preference would be that chicken pot pie should have onion in it. Also, next time I'll put the whole 16-ounce bag of mixed vegetable in the pie. When I cooked some onion in some margarine, I added the already-thawed vegetables and cooked them until hot; then I added the cream cheese/chicken soup mixture to the veggies, the chicken, and added salt and pepper. Then, I put all of it in the pie shell. I have always had a hard time handling the second pie shell that goes on top; mine wants to crack. It doesn't affect the taste--just not as pretty as it should be.

Russian Mushroom and Potato Soup

This is a great recipe!! My wonderful daugher-in-law from Minnesota (she now lives in Georgia) makes a similar soup, but uses wild rice instead of potatoes. Don't forget that wild rice takes awhile to cook. Also, she adds shredded chicken, which gives more substance to the recipe. By the way, I really appreciate allrecipes.com.

Garlic Cheese Biscuits

I've been making this recipe for years and my family loves it. The only thing I do different, after the butter and garlic powder has been brushed on the tops of each biscuit, is I add a small pinch of dill weed (from the box--not the fresh) on top of each biscuit.

Cheesy Stuffed Shells

My wonderful daughter-in-law from Minnesota (I'm from Georgia) made this when I visited my son and her where they live in North Georgia. If I could rate it above 5, I would. The only thing I did different was I did not cook all the shells. I think I stuffed 15 shells. Thanks for a great recipe!!!

Double Quick Dinner Rolls

I don't know for sure what I did wrong, but these were heavy and were not light and flaky. I wonder if my water was too hot. The onion powder did not enhance the rolls at all. I will try this recipe again, but will leave out the onion powder and will make sure my water is only lukewarm.
