High Temperature Eye-of-Round Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2014
It was not as tender as I expected, but the flavor was there. I'll tinker with this recipe a bit, to see what I can do to tenderize the Beef.

Juicy Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2013
I made this Chicken for dinner this evening, and I have to say it's the best Roast Chicken I've ever made! Thank you ROBINROCKINGBIRD for sharing this with us, it's rare that my wife helps herself to seconds. The only thing I did different from the recipe is to substitute salt for Garlic salt.

Gluten-Free Fudge Brownies

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2013
Made these for my gluten free significant other tonight. She absolutely loves them, I used a 9X13 pan, added 1/2C semi sweet chocolate chips and baked them about 7 minutes too long. They turned out a lil crunchy on top, and nice and gooey in the middle. Fantastic recipe, thank you for sharing it.

Quick and Easy Yorkshire Pudding

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2012
Since my wife has a gluten intolerance, I made a GF version, which unfortunately, didn't puff up like a normal Yorkshire would. Never the less, my wife loved it, even if it was more like a muffin, so thank you for the recipe

Homemade Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2012
This is an excellent base for Chicken soup, I made my first ever batch yesterday. Since I only had fresh Cilantro on hand, I decided to give my soup a Latin flavor and added Cumin, Lime zest, and rice. My wife, who doesn't like soup, raved about this batch, and I was very happy with the finished product.

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2011
Gave it five stars although it does need tinkering. I added a pinch of salt, white pepper, garlic powder, cumin seeds and a tsp of chopped onions.

Eggplant Parmesan II

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2008
Very good recipe, I sweated the eggplant with sea salt prior to breading and baking it. I used cornflake crumbs in place of bread crumbs, and added garlic powder & Italian seasoning to the cornflakes.

Chile Relleno Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2007
I gave this 5 out of 5 because I tinkered quite a bit with the base recipe. I used 6 cans of chiles, 1.5 lbs of taco seasoned ground beef, I layered corn tortillas on the bottom & top, used queso blanco cheese instead of cheddar, added a layer of sliced jalapenos, and a can of red enchalada sauce poured over the top during the last 10 minutes of cooking. It turned out quite tasty, and we were very pleased with the result.

Cream Cheese Kolacky

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2006
This was a staple Christmas cookie for my family, and has been missing from the dessert tray since Mom passed...Until now:) We use preserves instead of jams, and our cookies are rounds, not folded over like the picture, otherwise they are divine. We use Apricot, Strawberry, Raspberry, Peach, Lemon(Kurd), and Pineapple preserves for quite an assortment of Kolacky flavors, and from the test batch I made for Thanksgiving, I better triple the recipe for Christmas. Thank you so much for posting this recipe.

Pot Stickers Traditional

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2005
I used this recipe in egg rolls instead of traditional pot stickers, and they turned out very tasty. I cheated a bit on the recipe, by putting the chili oil into the mix, and not making the dipping sauce. My fiancee called them the world's greatest egg rolls. Thank you Marcia.

French Bread

Excellent!!! This was my first attempt at French bread, and it's wonderful. I had a hard time with shaping the loaf, but the bread itself was great, and I'll make this over and over again. Thank You Jenn
