Brie Cranberry and Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2008
It's a winner - a bit apprehensive making this without doctoring up the canned cranberry sauce...you did not have to. I bought a pizza dough ball from Trader Joes and partial baked it (farlic and herb crust) I took it to a party and topped it there...delicious!

Bananas Foster Pudding

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2008
I am a lover of Bread Puddings and this was wonderful...but you have to like the flavor of Banannas! I made it for our Super Bowl/Madis Gras party and it was a HUGE hit! I made a sauce to serve ontop of each serving (b.sugar, butter, bannana liquor, pecans and milk). We also served it warm with a scoop of vanilla iceream. Will make it again!

Apple Butter Pork Loin

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2006
My kids loved this....I thought it was good. I make a lot of crockpot pumpkin applebutter every fall so this is a nice way to use it....the juice did make for a nice gravy which we used the next night when I chopped the leftover meat and added it to the gravy with 4 Tbl. of apple butter. Then we pourd it over egg noodles! Another pleaser.

Coleslaw with Peas

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2006
It was okay....not enough flavor, maybe more curry next time or hot! I did use the brocoli slaw for more of a crunch which was nice. I like the idea of the peanuts and peas. I have added frozen peas (thawed) to salads/slaws before.

Butterscotch Apple Squares

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2006
THis recipe has possibilities...Personally, I did not like the grahm bottom and the directions should be diferent...not mixing the butter and crumbs and pressing into the bottom of the pan makes it a very crumbly bottom bar! I think I would consider grinding gingersnaps to make a crust with melted butter for better flavor! I would have loved an extra apple as well. The only thing I added was about 4 Tbl. of cinnamon chips because I was short on the butterscotch! I will try them again, my way.

Turkey Burgers with Indian Spices and Chutney

Reviewed: May 26, 2006
I am always looking for a healthy option and this was great! I made it as called for but made smaller burgers using only 1 ib ground turkey and just slightly less spice than called for to adjust for the missing meat. What a hit! cooking them in the skillet was fast and easy (usually everything is on the grill) I used whole wheat pitas, cut them into fourths and filled with baby spinach leaves and the chutny!! Everyone loved them and the spice combo was terrific! I made these for my girlfiends and next time I'll try adding baby arugala and red onions to the pita with the burger!

Marinated Pork Roast with Currant Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2006
My girlfriend made this recipe lst night for us and it was great. She overcooked her roast a bit so the meat was dry...however, we sliced it and poured the sauce all over it and let it sit...wow! I'll do it again but be sure to pull the roast out at 160.

This is a nice change to traditinal corn beef. My kids like cornbeef and this gives me another option for serving. We took the suggestion of baby carrots and tossed them into the dish once the glaze went on...terrific.

Simple Ranchy Breaded Fish Fillets

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2006
Not the best recipe I have tried for talapia....maybe it was the ranch seasoning...the fish tasted, well, sour. My kids who love fish did not like this one.
