Baked Tofu Bites

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2013
Great recipe. I read the other reviews before I made it and I decided to omit the liquid smoke. I'm glad I did because it was great without it. I will definitely make this again! Thank you!

Simple Guacamole

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2013
So easy and AMAZING!! I made it as a snack for the Super Bowl and my hubby and I LOVED it! When we were planning the picnic fare for our son's birthday party, we decided to make it again since we loved it so much. It was the favorite snack at the party and we got LOTS of compliments! I will DEFINITELY be making this again! Thank you for sharing this wonderfully tasty and simple recipe!

Easy Mexican Rice

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2011
Delicious! I did make some changes though. I did not use lettuce at all. Since I did not have tomato sauce, I used spaghetti sauce that had chunks of veggies. Because of that, I eliminated the canned tomatoes. I also took the advice of other reviewers and cut the water down, using only 1 cup of water. I also cooked the rice with everything else. I just dumped everything into a pan and cooked it all together. It couldn't be easier! Great recipe!

Best Bread Machine Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2010
WOW!! This is the BEST bread machine recipe I have ever used! The only thing I changed was I used Splenda instead of sugar due to special dietary needs. I put it on the medium setting and the crust did turn out a little light so next time I'll put it on the dark setting. Still, the crust is flaky and has a nice crunch. The inside is incredibly soft. Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe! I will definitely be using this again!!

Baked Beef and Brown Rice

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2008
WOW!! FANTASTIC!! This was great! So easy and inexpensive! HUGE hit with everybody! The rice turned out PERFECT for me and the dish was not dry at all! When you make this recipe, remember that you need to use long cooking brown rice and the rice MUST go in first and then add the remaining ingredients in the order they are given in the recipe. We even made 2 pans and baked them at the same time. Both turned out just PERFECTly!! We will DEFINITELY be making this again VERY soon!! Thank you for submitting what is now our family's new FAVORITE dish!!

Italian Dressing Mix

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2008
Fantastic! Since I used garlic salt and celery salt, I only added an additional 1 Tbsp salt figuring that I could always add more. I'm glad I didn't add 2 Tbsp, because the 1 was just the right amount. Also, I didn't have canola oil, so I used olive oil, which I had on hand. It was absolutely delicious and so easy! No more store bought Italian dressing for me!! Thank you for submitting this!

Easiest Egg Nog

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2006
Very good and very easy. I did change it some though. I am severely allergic to dairy products, so I used soy milk. I'm hypoglycemic, so I used Splenda instead of sugar. I also used EggBeaters instead of raw eggs, which eliminates the health risk. I did think the vanilla was overpowering, so I made another batch, but eliminated the vanilla and added it to the first batch. You can still taste the vanilla, so if you don't like a strong vanilla taste, you might only want to put 1/2 tsp instead of a whole teaspoon. I used a hand blender which did thicken it up some. It is still not as thick as the store bought, but this is a great recipe and I will definitely use it again!
