I didn't make this bread in a bread machine, I made it by hand. It is AWESOME. So very good! I was told by everyone to 'keep this recipe'. They want it again and again. I just followed the order of making bread by hand-which means you do it all in a different order. Water, sugar and yeast together-let sit for 10-15 minutes until frothy, add oil and salt, mix for just a min or less-just to incorporate, add flour mix for 5-7 mins, add other seasonings mix for 2-3 mins. (or if you don't have a mixer with a dough hook, knead well for each of those ingredients for that long). Let rise in mixer bowl (or other greased bowl) for one hour, shape into loaves, put into greased loaf pans, let rise about 45 mins-1 hour, bake at 375 for about 30 minutes or until golden brown. If you plan on making it by hand, I suggest you triple it (this will make 3 loaves) to make it worth your while...besides...this bread is SO good...one loaf doesn't last long!!!
