Frozen Strawberry Yogurt

Reviewed: May 22, 2012
This is really good! We make it all the time. I always make it with regular condensed milk, though because that's the only one that the store carries in their own brand where I live. The name brand is way too expensive! I have also made this with half strawberries and half blueberries. Either way, it is awesome!

Buttery Corn Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2012
This corn bread is awesome! I followed the recipe exactly except I made it into muffins instead of baking it in a pan. I figured I would be able to freeze them easier that way if we didn't eat all of them. I baked them at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes. Rave reviews from the whole family!

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2011
This is excellen meatloaf. I made some minor changes due to what I had on hand. I used ground venison instead of beef. I also use breadcrumbs instead of crackers and put the brown sugar and ketchup mixture on top of the meatloaf before cooking it. I usually don't enjoy sweet dinner food, but this is an exception. Even my two young picky eaters are in heaven when they eat this!

Basic Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2009
This is awesome easy frosting! It's definitely way better than what you can buy at the store. I did cut back on the powdered sugar to 3 cups, though.

Addictive Pumpkin Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2009
These are really great and easy muffins. I cut the sugar down to 2.5 cups since applesauce is sweet, and added 2 tbs. of vanilla. I also only had 2 12 count muffin tins, so I baked the rest in a small loaf pan at 350 and it took about 50-60 minutes.

This is a great recipe as-is. It is wonderful on top of pancakes and also ice cream!

Cheese Sauce Over Cauliflower

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2007
This cheese sauce was ok, but I thought it would be a little "cheesier" than it was. My family thought it was good, though.

Chicken and Biscuit Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2007
This was a great recipe! Perfect for a cold night. I had leftover turkey, so I used that instead of the chicken, but it was great anyway! Thanks.

Cheesy Sausage Zucchini Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2007
This was a great casserole. My husband wanted me to rate this for him; he said it definitely deserves 5 stars! The only change I made was to use shredded cheddar cheese (2 cups) instead of the processed.

The Best Zucchini Fritters Ever

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2007
These are great! Everyone that I have ever made them for just loves them. The only thing that I did differently was to fry the fritters in oil instead of shortening.

Pumpkin Roll Supreme

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2006
This tasted wonderfully. However, I had some problems with the cake sticking to the towel despite the sprinkling of powdered sugar. I also found the frosting too runny, and could not roll the loaf back up.

Mimi's Giant Whole-Wheat Banana-Strawberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2006
This was an awesome healty muffin recipe, and a good way to use up those browning bananas! The one problem that I had was them getting moldy after a couple of days. It was really humid and the muffins were so moist; I suggest keeping them in the refrigerator, or freezing the ones you won't eat right away.

Easy Pancakes

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2006
These were really good and easy to make pancakes. I like to use whole wheat flour so I did 1/2 c. whole wheat and 1/2 c. white flour.

Beef Stroganoff II

Reviewed: May 19, 2006
This recipe was excellent! I have made it a few times, and have used 1.5 lbs of venison burger instead of the sirloin because my husband is a hunter. It makes excellent leftovers; if there is any left!
