Delicious Raspberry Oatmeal Cookie Bars

Reviewed: May 24, 2010
Very tasty, but a bit sweet. I did use Wildberry jam instead of raspberry though, so maybe that made it sweeter then it needed to be. I will defiantly be making these again, the kids love them.

Easy Morning Glory Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2010
Yummy! I did make some changes to suit my families tastes though. I took out the raisins and coconut since nobody likes those, and also took out the walnuts because of allergies. I used 3/4 cup apple sauce and 1/4 cup oil instead of the full cup of oil.

Mom's Best Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2009
Very good. I made this today with no clue as to what I was doing and without a candy thermometer and was surprised at how easy it was. I used mixed nuts in place of just peanuts because that it what I had. Will defiantly make again.

Lasagna Roll Ups

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2009
Yummy. I gave it 4 stars because I had to change it a bit to fit our families tastes. I took out the spinach and the tofu, and added an egg to the cheese mixture to hold it all together. I made some with just cheese, and added beef to the others for DH. Will defiantly make this again.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2009
These are delicious. We make them at least once a week. I do change them a tiny bit, we leave off the streusel topping and I add some fresh lemon juice. The kids love them with raspberries, so we add those alot too.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2009
This was great, we ate every bite. I used half the amount of sugar, bulls eye Bold Original bbq sauce and fresh skinless bone in chicken thighs instead of the frozen chicken breast. I also didnt shred the chicken but just left it on the bone. Served garlic mashed potatoes and corn on the cob on the side. Perfect dinner.

Sensational Strawberry Shortcake

Delicious. I made this exactly as written and it was wonderful. It was not at all dry like others have had problems with and everyone in the family loved it.

Banana Banana Bread

Wonderful. I made this recipe exactly as written. We did end up with 2 smaller loaves of bread, and added choc. chips to one. They were both delicious.

Chewy Granola Bars

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2009
These were amazing. i did add a bit more butter as others suggested, and I had to substitue 1/2cup of oatmeal with rice krispies because I ran out of oatmeal, but they were so good. We made one batch with mini m&m's and one batch with raisins and chopped dried apricot. Both were a huge hit. Mine didnt crumble, but i pressed them down really hard before baking and gently after baking. We are baking around dairy and nut allergies, so this recipe was perfect for us.

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: May 3, 2009
I made this tonight, and it turned out great. I was a little worried because I've never made pizza dough without the use of my bread machine, but it was so easy. Next time I will add some Italian seasoning and some garlic to give it a bit more flavor.

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2008
These are perfect, don't change a thing when you make them! I have tried making them with half oil and half applesauce, and they turned out just as good as the original recipes, and I tried making them yesterday with strawberry yogurt instead of plain because its all I had, I don't reccomend it. They are okay, but very sweet. The yogurt covers the banana taste, which beats the whole point of a banana muffin! Won't use flavored yogurt again!

Pancakes I

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2008
These were very good. I used 3/4 cup white flour and 1/4 cup whole wheat, and added 1 tsp of vanilla, but otherwise followed the recipe. Turned out very good and fluffy, will defiently make them again.

Soft Breadsticks

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2008
I found that these were just okay. defiantly like a buscuit like alot of other people said. I tried with a few different toppings, one with mozza cheese, one with garlic salt, one with garlic salt and italian spice, and one with coarse salt. The ones with the garlic salt and the ones with the italian spice turned out pretty well. The others turned out too bland or salty. Not that good. I would make these to go with spaghette in place of garlic bread once in awhile. Not that often though, and still have to get the families seal of approval!

Fudgy Chocolate Chip Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2008
This is awesome. They aren't too sweet or too chocolately, just right. They don't rise very much, so don't be afraid to fill the cups most of the way to the top. I really liked that they were made with applesauce instead of oil, makes them just a tiny bit healthier for everyone. Delicious. Will defiantly make again.

Granola Cereal Bars

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2007
I tweaked this recipe a bit before making, but it turned out pretty good. I used honey instead of corn syrup, and after reading the previous 2 reviews about how crumbly it turns out, I used 1 1/2 cups of oats instead of 2, and 3/4 cup of cereal. It stuck together much better that way. I also melted the choclolate chips with the peanut butter and brown sugar. Very tasty

Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2007
The only change I made was to add an extra tablespoon of cocoa, and it still didn't have a very chocolately taste. I baked it in a 9x9 pan and it took more then an hour to cook through the middle. Once I removed it from the pan the sides became very very had and we were'nt able to eat it. Will not make again.

Caramel Popcorn

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2007
This was delicious. A little hard to mix at the beginning, I found the caramel cooled very quickly and stayed where i poured it, but mixed once it was heated in the oven. Will defiently make again, good for snacking since it lasts for quite a few days! Only needed to be baked for about 30 minutes though to make a nice crunchy popcorn snack.

Applesauce

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2007
When I made this recipe I used 3 different types of apples, and left out the cloves. It was very good, except I found that even after adding only half the sugar it was almost too sweet. I also pureed it in the blender after it had cooled to give it the consistancy I wanted.

Blueberry Gems

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2007
This is a delicious recipe. I did change it a little bit though, I used half whole wheat flour and half white, and instead of just blueberries I used a frozen field berry mix, (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries and blackberries) It turned out increadibly moist and stayed soft for quite awhile. Absolutly wonderful recipe
