Fudge Brownies I

My initial thoughts were 3 stars - they judge didn't taste that chocolatey to me. Looking through the reviews, I took a suggestion and upped the chocolate to 6 oz - 5 unsweetened and 1 semi-sweet (the next time, I did 2 semi-sweet and didn't really notice a difference between the two) and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! The added chocolate make the brownies "fudgier" and definitely made them deliciously chocolatey. There's something still not quite perfect for me, I think I might try making this with 3 eggs instead. I cook them in a 9x13 pan for 30 minutes and I Don't use nuts (hate em in brownies). I might try one reviewers suggestion of two eggs in a 9 x 9 pan for 30 minutes. Will update if I do.

Extreme Chocolate Cake

I had the same problem as another reviewer with my cakes coming out "dome" shaped. I left it as two layers, and I shouldn't have. I really like the taste of the cake and I'll make it again. For those who aren't already super experienced bakers, the frosting was a NIGHTMARE. I've never made butter cream and every instruction I found online said "cream butter with sugar" and it was all sorts difficult. Also, it made WAY too much, and I also only used the 3.5 cups of sugar that another reviewer stated. I still found the frosting as only "ok." Next time I'll try the cake with a chocolate cream cheese frosting.

Creamy Twice-Baked Potatoes

These were PHENOMENAL! I didn't add cheddar cheese as some reviewers did (and I really don't think they needed it). The only thing I think I'll do differently next time is that instead of only cutting a sliver off, I'll got them in half. I followed the portions and ended up with a TON of filling - I didn't want to waste it so it ended up spilling all over the top. I think if I'd cut the skins in half, I'd have a bit more wiggle room with the filling.

Fast and Easy French Onion Dip

I was not a fan of this, although I might try it with some of the things suggested in the reviews. I may be odd, but I LOVE the store bought Dean's French Onion, and this, as made according to the recipe, just didn't compare.

Amish Friendship Chocolate Bread

This is YUMMY! It tastes just like chocolate cake, and when I had my friend make it with me, she said, "omg.... I love you forever, lets be amish together. They know how to make bread".

Focaccia Bread

I love this Focaccia bread. The cheese came out a bit darker than I would have liked, but I am pretty sure thats my fault, lol. The recipe was YUMMY, and I would DEFINITELY be making it again.
