Very good cookies. I'm rating them 4 stars because I couldn't get them really soft and chewy without sacrificing some color and appearance. I used extra chunky peanut butter and added mini semi-sweet chips instead of the extra chopped nuts as suggested by other reviewers. I formed the cookies with a #40 scoop which made them just the right size for me. At this size and in my oven, 11 minutes left them greyish, oily on top, and soft & chewy, 12 minutes gave them a pretty light brown color and left them with a little softness but still more crispy than I prefer. A larger cookie may have turned out softer, but for portion size reasons, I prefer not to make my cookies so large. This recipe makes a ton of cookies, so I partially solved this problem by making one tray of greyish, soft ones for me and making the rest pretty and crispier for company :-). Overall, this is a keeper recipe. Thanks for sharing!
