Charleston Breakfast Casserole

Great recipe! I followed other suggestions and doubled the recipe, used mexican blended cheeses and added a couple shots of hot sauce. At the same time made a single recipe and cooked it in a smaller dish. All were delicious, it's a keeper. (BTW, you can't have too much bacon.)

Frogmore Stew

Try it, you're gonna love it! We really like the flavor of Old Bay and usually double the amount shown in the recipe. After adding the shrimp set king crab legs on the top of everything (don't mix in or the meat will get mushy) and cook until hot.....that'll keep 'em coming back!

Seashell Supper

This is a great, easy recipe. I had a little spicy bulk sausage in the fridge so I browned that with the onion and used canned tomatoes with jalapenos, nice kick! This has become a weekly dish in our home.

Creamed Tuna On Toast

This is a great quick and easy meal. We adapt it for dinner by adding a can of drained peas and pouring over cooked rice or noodles. If you like, spice it up with a bit of ground red pepper. You can use any creamed soup you have on hand, we like cream of mushroom esp. with dinner.

Neiman Marcus Cake II

Have made this twice, the first time for a church picnic. I followed other reviews cutting the sugar back to 3 cups and then added a layer of canned pecan/coconut icing between the cake and cream cheese topping. People are still taking about it and asking for the recipe! The second time tried something different. Since I didn’t have the icing, followed other reviewers again and added chopped pecans to the cake mixture and between the cake and topping (added a 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla to the topping). Served with cherry pie filling over the top, it was absolutely the best!
