Broccoli and Cheese Brunch Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2012
followed others suggestions-used crescent rolls as a crust, added tomatoes and used asparagus instead of broccoli. I also used egg beaters instead of eggs and turkey sausage. Everyone said "this is a keeper!!" It did take a bit longer to cook and set up. But well worth the wait!!

Slow-Cooker Barbecue Ribs

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2011
FABULOUS!!! I have tried many slow cooker rib recipes and this is the BEST! I think it may have to do with baking the ribs before putting them in the slow cooker. the end product is not greasy and the ribs are very flavorful. Thanks for this keeper of a recipe!

Creamy Pasta Primavera

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2011
I thought it was too thick, even after I added several extra glugs of milk. I'd suggest only using 4 oz of cream cheese. but it was a quick and easy dinner. it is a good way to get the family to eat veggies.

Spicy Chicken Rice Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2011
my DH had a bad cold and I wanted to make him some soup. I had some leftover chicken and I tried this recipe. My DH said "this is the BEST soup I ever had!" wow! He loved the spicy flavor. I added some water chestnuts and yellow squash for some crunch. will definitely make this again! thanks for sharing.

Oven Baked BBQ Ribs

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2011
I followed the other suggestions about doubling the glaze ingredients. I liked the idea of cooking the ribs (vs par boiling) before glazing them. I was concerned that the glaze seemed really thin at first, but it turned to a glaze beautifully! These ribs had good flavor and the glaze was just enough. will make these again.

Beef Stew IV

I thought this stew was pretty bland. not real hearty tasting. I followed the others reviews but it still needs more of something.

Garlic Croutons

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2010
Agree with the others-won't ever use store croutons again!! This is such an easy recipe and a great way to reduce wasting tale bread, rolls, etc. I'll try different seasoning to add to this base recipe. thanks

Classic Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2010
Exactly the way my Mom's tasted. for years I could never match it (most recipes are too creamy). Definitely let it sit in frig overnight-it looks a little too creamy when you first mix it. thanks for sharing!

Kabobs

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2010
Fabulous! I followed other advice and separated the meats from the veggies when marinating for 8+ hrs. This will definitely be in our usual rotation, even during the work week. As one reviewer suggested, cut everything up and bag it in marinade in the morning. then go to work and come home and grill. YUMMY

Apple Loaf

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2010
delicious! super moist! I followed others suggestions with adding cinnamon and nutmeg and more apples. I also used applesauce instead of butter. It made enough for four mini loaves. great way to use apples that are a bit past their prime. a keeper recipe.

Pancakes I

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2009
this is the first time I made homemade pancakes. My family LOVED them. they said they were very light and not too doughy like some packaged pancakes. plus the cost of homemade vs premade is another reason that I like this recipe.

Pancakes

I used the suggestions to substitute honey for the oil and to add baking powder. Great flavor. The kids cleaned their plates, which didn't often happen with store bought mix.
