Grilled Lemon Herb Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2011
So very, very good! Grilled these up tonight and was pleasantly surprised that they tasted so good, considering how simple the ingredients and preparation was. Will definitely make again! Thanks!

Easy Indian Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2011
Easy and YUMMY! I did the lower fat version of this recipe. Not quite as good as the stuff I get at the Indian Restaurant...but then again, it is a spectacular Indian Restaurant. Served with basmati rice and had a regular feast! :) Thanks!!

Best Beef and Broccoli

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2010
This is so very yummy!! I've made this several times (in the crock pot, because it is easier, and the meat falls apart at the end of an 8 hour day!) and add some crushed red pepper flakes and minced garlic in addition to the other ingredients. We love it!

Smokin' Scovilles Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2010
This is amazing chili!! I'd give it more stars if I could. I'd put this up against my husband's chili any day. Very spicy, but you don't just taste the heat, it has spectacular flavor. I made it exactly as written. Definitely doing this one whenver I want to make chili.

French Toast II

YUMM-O! I made it without the nutmeg, but left everything else as it was. Very tasty! Exactly what I was looking for this morning--a quick, easy, tasty French Toast recipe, thanks!

Juicy Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2008
This was sooo good, and so easy! I did make a couple of changes, as per the suggestions in another review: I sliced up six cloves of garlic, and two small lemons, and shoved that into the cavity along with the celery and butter. I tucked a couple of the lemon slices and a few slices of the garlic under the breast skin. My chicken was a little larger (5 pounds) and it took two hours to roast. It was absolutely delicious, and juicy! YUM! Will definitely make again!

Best Ever Banana Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2008
Wow!! This really is the Best Ever Banana Bread!! I made it exactly as described--next time I may try to play around with the recipe a bit (add chocolate chips, vanilla, cinnamon, etc...) but it is simply wonderful as is. It's my new banana bread recipe! Thanks!

Souvlaki

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2007
I really, really liked this! My hubby and I pigged out. I did feel that the soy sauce flavor was a bit overpowering, so I may add a bit less next time. I served over rice pilaf and added a huge spinach salad and we had an awesome meal.

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2007
This is okay...it's easy, which is a plus, and I will make it again, but since it is way too sweet for my taste as it is, I will probably cut the honey in half and use dijon instead of regular mustard. I did like the basil/paprika/parsley mixed in.

Brenda's Pepperoni Chicken Rollups

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2006
I made this last night because I was looking for something to use up some stuff in my pantry/fridge, and I was so impressed!! I think this is going to be a regular addition to our table. I used shredded mozzerella and pizza sauce as substitutes, because that was what I had on hand. This is definitely NOT boring ol' chicken!

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2006
These are EXCELLENT!!! Some of the best cookies I have ever made. I did make a few changes--half margarine/half shortening (I do this with all of my cookies...for some reason my cookies can turn out flat as frisbees, this prevents that from happening), and I did half brown sugar/half white sugar. The end result? OMG, cookies of divine chocolaty-ness, to die for. Better than the local bakery's chocolate chocolate chip cookies. I'd give it more stars if I could. Happy eating!

Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2006
Yum! I made some modifications, because we don't like olives and tomatoes...(Yeah, I know, then why are we trying this recipe, right? haha!) Anyway, I substituted some diced red pepper and red onion, kept everything else the same, and the result was delish! I had some fall-leaf and pumpkin shaped tri-colored pasta and it was really pretty...not that we sat and stared at it, it was all eaten pretty quickly!

Biscuit-Topped Italian Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2006
Sorry...this just wasn't good for us at all. The biscuits didn't cook all the way through and were doughy on the bottom...but if I'd left it in the oven any longer they would have been burnt on top. Never had that problem before with any biscuit-topped recipes. Despite the fact that I added spices to the tomato sauce, it was incredibly bland, and the mixture was very watery when I scooped it out of the dish.

This was really very good, especially for as easy as it was. Definitely make it in advance so the flavors can all "smoosh" together.

Chicken Pot Pie I

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2006
Yummy comfort food! I gave four stars because I modified this a little bit... I used a refrigerated pie crust and leftovers from a rotisserie chicken, and a jar of chicken gravy with some added spices. It was very, very good!!

Butter Cream Frosting II

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2006
OMG, OMG, OMG, this is just to die for!! I was waffling back and forth between making this and my usual frosting recipe to cover a chocolate sheet cake, and I tried this because it was different and easy. I am thrilled with the results. It's delish with a wonderful texture. The only changes I made were that I used 4 cups of the sugar, and a bit more vanilla (to take the edge off the powdered sugar taste that I was getting). I think that next time I will used butter flavored shortening. YAY!!!

Easy. Tasty. Reminds one of home. It's all good! I did not put bacon on the top, just the sauce, but it was still de-lish!

Chocolate Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2006
I have two little kids who drink chocolate milk every day, and this meets with their approval. It's quicker to make this than it is to run down to the store to buy a new bottle. Definitely a winner, and makes my life easier to boot! Thanks!
