Very creamy and good. Mine never did have the small bubbles on top and after cooking it for 20 plus minutes, I took it out. So I too do not know how long you are actually supposed to leave it in the oven. I might have liked a little more lime flavor and will work on that next time. I did only 2 cans of condensed milk as suggested by other reviewers.

Orange Chiffon Cake

Great tasting cake. I used 3/4 cup orange juice concentrate (no water) and also the grated orange peel. Used a thin cream cheese icing. Will make again.

Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad

This was good! Just a new flavor for an old pasta recipe. There are so many things you can add if you want to. Oh, I forgot it is fairly simple to make!

Oven Scrambled Eggs

They were edible but not light & fluffy - I can't imagine what I did wrong. Do cut the butter down as I had to drain the butter off the top. They did take longer to bake than directed. Would be easier for me to cook on the stove.

Three Cheese Baked Pasta

Very good! I used just 2 cheeses and forgot to layer in the sour cream. Still was good! We just put the sour cream on top. This is a recipe that you can add lots of your favorites to or it was great as written.

Pumpkin Gingerbread

5 stars if you cut the sugar to 2 c (was plenty sweet this way) and use half oil, half applesauce. I made one loaf and 6 large muffins. I added raisens to the muffins - tasted GREAT!

Pumpkin Crunch Cake

I used a large can of the pumpkin pie mix (all you have to do is add 2 eggs & a small can of evaporated milk). I did not want it to sweet so only put on 1/2 of yellow cake mix and 1/2 cup of melted butter. It was perfect! My 95 year old mother could not stop eating it.

Caramel Apple Cheesecake

Sometimes I do not read the directions to a recipe! Yep, this was one of those times - I put the topping on "before" I baked it - so my cheesecake took longer to bake. Easy recipe and tasted great (in spite of my directions mistake). Will look forward to making it the right way too.

Graham Cracker Cookies

Good basic cookie then you can add what chips, nuts, etc. you want. They do not spread so make them smaller otherwise the insides do not get done. I could not taste the graham crackers but it did make a different cookie - and I am always looking for a new cookie recipe.

Spaghetti Salad III

This is a basic salad that you can add whatever vegetables you want. I didn't have quite enough Italian salad dressing so added some ranch dressing and a little sugar. It was very good.

Banana Cake VI

This was a good cake. The only thing I did differently was add only 1 1/2 cup of sugar (could not add 2 1/8 cups - would have been to sweet). I put a peanut butter frosting on but next time will use a white frosting - may put a little banana extract in it.

Strawberry Cake IV

Got rave reviews and co-workers asking for the recipe. I did add 1/3 cup milk & 1/3 cup strawberry juice to make the 2/3 c liquid. I bought 16 oz. of strawberries so added about a cup of strawberries and used the remaining in a cream cheese frosting I made. I omitted the butter in the cake and could not tell a difference - it was plenty moist. Served with vanilla ice cream as I feel it takes the edge off the sweet.

Cake with Buttercream Decorating Frosting

Excellent! I used heavy cream in place of the milk (as in another buttercream recipe). I added peanut butter for an icing for a peanut butter cake - yum!

Dill Cucumber Dip

I thought it had too much of a mayo taste so added some sour cream to tone it down. I got all the water out of the cucumbers (important). I had a family request to make it again (that is an automatic 5 star!).

Peanut Butter Sheet Cake

Turned out GREAT (used a buttercream frosting that I added peanut butter to)- good peanut butter flavor. I was afraid it would be oily like previous reviewers but it wasn't. I did add about a 1/4 c. more peanut butter and cut oil to 1/8 c.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Just was not that crazy about this cake (personal preference) - almost was too moist for me. I used the Satin Glaze from this website and it was great. I did get compliments on how nice it looked. Followed the recipe exactly except that I used applesauce in place of the oil. I think that needs to be cut in half. I wish I would have maybe baked more than the 50 min. - maybe 60 min. and it might have not been so moist & dense.
