Absolutely the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

These cookies look like a classic cc cookie, however they lack the classic taste. The texture was nice. I used imitation vanilla; perhaps that was the problem. I don't know. I will try them with more vanilla.

Pumpkin Casserole

This is delicous!!! But I thought it was going to be a side dish... it is not. It is a lovely dessert. If I make it again as a side dish, I will use only 1/4 or 1/2 cup of sugar.

Apple Squares

These apple "brownies" were great a few minutes out of the oven and the next morning too. I did cut both the sugars by a few tablespoons each. Next time I will also cut the topping in half.

Amazing Pecan Coffee Cake

Easy, great recipe! I didn't have a full cup of sour cream (maybe only 2/3 cup), so I used some milk with vinegar. I also used a little less butter and sugar. Even with my modifications, the cake was moist and tasty. UPDATE: I made this recipe again and it fell in the middle. But I think the problem is the amount of Baking Powder. 1/2T is plenty.

Fluffy Pancakes

These turned out pretty good. They are fluffy. I had to add a bit more milk to thin the batter. I would make them again if I didn't have a box mix.

Delilah's Frosted Cut-Out Sugar Cookies

These turned out beautifully! I had to add a bit more flour but that could be because of the humidity right now. To roll them I put baking paper on my counter and then floured it. Make sure to use a lot of flour so that the cookies don't stick to the surface. Also, 200 C was too hot. I dropped the temp to 180 C (350 F). Great!

Lemon Sugar Tea Cookies

These are good sugar cookies. But with the amount of lemon extract posted you can not taste it. I doubled the lemon and still could not taste it. When they cooled, I glazed them with a lemon juice and icing sugar frosting. Will make them again but triple the lemon extract.

German Potato Pancakes

These little pancakes are great!!! The only thing I changed was the amount of flour - I had to add more as the potatoes kept letting out water making the batter to wet. I did add a dash of cajun seasoning to the batter. Great recipe.

Tiny Chicken Turnovers

These little snacks are so yummy! As other reviewers, I cut back on the butter in the crust. In the filling I added grated carrots and chopped fresh broccoli. Next time I will add more broccoli as my husband and I like that flavor. Great recipe!

Carrot Cake I

So moist!!! I made this for my husband and daughter's birthday. Everyone at the party said how moist and yummy it was. The only change to the recipe is that I didn't use raisins and I made a different cream cheese with pineapple frosting. This is a keeper!

Apple Oatmeal Cookies I

The nutmeg flavor is too much. I followed the recipe exact, but the dough was way too wet. I had to add almost 2 cups extra oats. The texture was ok - kinda cakey, but I won't make this again.

Apple Crisp II

Delicious!!! I cut the brown sugar down to 3/4 cup and the sweetness was just right. Per other reviews, I used an 8X8 pan, and the crust and topping turned out great. I must not have cooked it quite long enough though because the apples were just a tad crunchy. My only complaint is that I have to get it out of the house...I want to keep eating it.

Chicken Curry II

I made this curry two days ago. The first day it was just ok. But we had the leftover curry tonight and it was super! Maybe the flavors need a few days to blend. Next time I will make it the day before we plan to eat it.
