Homemade Wonton Soup

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

What's not to love about this recipe...easy, healthy, and so flavorful! I used the The Rotel tomatoes,frozen chicken breasts, homemade taco seasoning, and dark Mexican beer. Big hit!

Overnight Apple Cinnamon French Toast

Very,very good,and so easy! I could not put in 20 slices, maybe 16, and I really pushed the bread down. I like the idea of trying it with raisin bread next time,and also using my own apple pie filling. I did have to bake it a little longer, but not much, because I let it sit out for an hour before baking it, and did take the foil off the last 10 minutes.

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

So easy! A quick dinner with so much flavor! We loved it! I did follow others suggestion, and put flour in a ziplock bag, and tossed the chicken.

Chicago-Style Pan Pizza

Ohhh yes! I used homemade pizza crust and baked it in my cast iron skillet dusted with cornmeal. Drain the tomatoes really well, use good italian sausage, and don't skimp on the fennel seed...delish!

Bahama-Mama Pork Chops

This was good, but could use a little "kick", maybe some red pepper flakes. Best thing about this recipe is how quickly you can throw this together. I served it over rice, and it reminded us of sweet and sour pork.

BBQ Chili Pasta

I really had to spice this up for my family's taste. I added garlic, cumin, and chipolte hot sauce. I also used ground beef. I put shredded cheese and sour cream on the table so they could top it like another person suggested. In the end, this was tasty, and very simple to throw together. My higher rating was based more on how quick you can put dinner on the table.

Five Flavor Pound Cake II

Love Pound Cakes, and this one is superb!! Play with your extracts, going by personal taste, but the combo here is very good, only thing I did different was use real rum. Be aware though, my cake was done in an hour, not the 1 1/2 it called for. Maybe I had my oven set wrong, will have chance to test it again, as I know I'll be making this winner often!!

Scandinavian Almond Bars

These are wonderful! Perfect for tea, or really anytime. I'm going to use a pizza cutter next time which I think will make it easier to cut in diagonal lines. I've had many, many requests for the recipe.

Chili II

I was very disapointed with this recipe. From the comments, I knew it would not be very spicey, but I could fix that if I found I needed to, for us the problem was the vinegar taste was too strong. Too much needs to be altered for our family taste, so I will not make again.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Ginger Glazed Mahi Mahi

Because of the high sugar content in the marinade, it make the fish blacken very nicely in the fry pan. I used Orange Roughy, and really any kind of mild white fish will do great with this. Even salmon I'm sure! This is something you can run to the store, pick up the fish, and have dinner on the table within an hour or less, and a tasty one at that!

Sunshine S'more Cupcakes

What a wonderful, yummy change on the old standard cupcake. I made two batches, one chocolate, the other vanilla. The chocolate were good, but the vanilla were wonderful. Instead of using plain graham crackers, I crumbled up a keebler pie crust, and did add more than what the recipe called for, both in the batter and for the topping. I also just followed the directions on the cake mix. Kids and adults gobbled these up!
