Easy Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2010
So if I could give this a 6th star I would. I didn't have enough peaches so I used a combination of peach (fresh) 1 small can peaches and 2 nectarines. I did as others have done and mixed the cream cheese and cake mix togather then put the melted butter on the top of that. I only used a 1/2 cup of sugar and it was plenty sweet. This was very good and I will make this a keeper. Thank you for the recipe.

Chicken Noodle Casserole I

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2009
This was a very Yummy dish. I kept to the original ingredients but did use seasoned chicken breasts and tried to save on calores by using low fat soups and instead of butter for the crackers I used olive oil. I did add garlic powder to the soup mix and cracker crumbs. Will be making this again.

Molasses Cookies II

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2006
I gave this a 4 only because I never have made molasses cookies before and have nothing to compare it to. This was a very easy recipe and will most likely use it again. I did cut the salt down to half a tsp but will not the next time I think I could have used the whole amount and it would not have been too salty. If this is your first time making these don't attempt to flatten them down when they are baking they will flatten as they cool

Glazed Tofu Meatloaf

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2006
This was a good meatloaf. I did change a few things based on other suggestions. I added only one egg since I only used one pound of turkey, I did use the whole package of tofu, since others had said that it was too salty I cut down on the onion soup mix(1/2pkg) and soy sauce(1/8cup). I added about 1tsp of Emeril's Asian spice mix and that gave it a real nice kick. I will make this again. Thanks for the recipe

Egg Drop Soup II

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2006
Overall this was a good base soup to start with, needed some extra flavoring. We added ginger and green onions to the soup. Also needed to at least a full 3tbs of cornstarch to make it as thick as my local resturant. Will make this again

Baked Mushroom Thighs

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2006
My daughter stated "Yum!" and that I could make this again. This was a very simple quick and tasty meal. I used skinless boneless thighs, and the breading came out crispy. I did add a little white wine to the sauce. NO other changes needed will be making this again.

Simple Ranchy Breaded Fish Fillets

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2006
We liked this recipe. I gave it a 4 only because I altered the recipe. Instead of making the paste I added the ranch dressing (buttermilk flavored)to plan bread crumbs dredged the fish in egg then fried in olive oil. Used pollack as the fish will try with chicken breast. Thanks for the recipe

Banana Meatloaf

Reviewed: May 18, 2006
When I was looking for a new meatloaf recipe, this screamed at me to try it. I always read the reviews to see what other people thought of the recipe or did differently. Even though some thought this was an awful recipe I still had to try it. First time I made it I used half of the banana called for and made it with ground beef it was ok but I decided to give it another try with the full amount of banana and instead make it with ground turkey. THIS WAS WONDERFUL!!! It is definitely better with the turkey and lower in fat. Thanks for this recipe I will be making this again and again.

Oat Crusted Fish

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2006
This was a great change from breaded fish. Will try this with other fish. I didn't have enough of vegtable oil so I used 1/2 peanut oil and 1/2 canola and it gave the fish a nutty flavor. Will add this to my recipe box.

Tuna Noodle Casserole II

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2006
Yummy,Yummy this was a great recipe. This is my favorite tuna casserole yet I only changed a couple of things. Instead of leaving the onions raw I sauted them with one stalk of clerey. Since I didn't know what to do with the left over evaporated milk I used the whole can. Instead of American Cheese I used a Edam. It turned out very creamy and moist. Will defenetly make this again and again.
