Ultimate Turtle Cheesecake

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2009
This is an excellent recipe. I will use this filling as my basic cheesecake from now on. I loved the "turtle" part of it but will try it with different toppings!

Cranberry Sauce with Raspberry Vinegar

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2007
This is great, and so easy!! I added some freshly grated ginger and left out the cinnamon stick (because I didn't have any) and it's delicious!

Mandarin Orange Cake I

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2010
I'm giving two stars because I followed the recipe exactly and the topping is entirely runny. I don't know why?! Tastes good but looks nothing like the picture (where the topping stays on the cake).

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2009
My friends loved this. In fact my boyfriend who usually prefers stuffing out of the bird said this his new favorite stuffing. I did add the broth gradually and it did turn an interesting color (not quite gray but a funny brown, that might have been a result of the bread cubes, I used the packaged stuff). It was nice as far as not needing additional oven space also.

Pasta Shells with Portobello Mushrooms and Asparagus in Boursin Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2006
i thought this was great. i used the regular garlic boursin as i'm not crazy about black pepper and other than that i wouldn't change a thing.

Awesome Broccoli-Cheese Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2008
Wonderful. The only change I made is I didn't add the egg (only because I didn't have any on hand) and it was still great!

Special Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2012
This is perfect buttercream. I used butter flavored shortening and it was the best. I put it on the One Bowl Chocolate Cake III recipe.

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2009
Good but slightly bland. I will make again but maybe add some garlic salt or paprika, just needed a little something else. I did like it better than the usual cream of mushroom soup/french fried onion stuff though.

This was good. I rolled it in melted butter before rolling in bread crumbs. Also added some parmesan cheese to bread crumbs.

Four Cheese Macaroni

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2008
This was wonderful. I took the advise of another user and heated up 2 cups of half & half and added the Velveeta and cooked on low until melted then poured over buttered cooked macaroni (1 stick of melted margarine). I used about 3/4 cup of each cheese and tossed it. with macaroni. I left out the eggs. I then crumbled Ritz crackers over the top and baked. This was maybe the best macaroni & cheese I've had. Paired it up with BBQ Pulled Pork and my friends LOVED it!!

Caramel Snack Mix

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2012
This is very good. It's very crunchy which I like. I failed to stir it as it was cooling so I had to break it up a bit, but that was my fault so I give it 5 stars. I used peanuts instead of almonds because my husband doesn't like them.

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2011
Excellent cake. I thought I would try a trick I saw on TV and use cocoa in the greased pan instead of flour but it stuck a little. Next time I'll use flour. This will be my go-to chocolate cake recipe.

These were delicious. I did cut back on the sugar per other reviewers and will cut back even more next time, they were just a little too sweet for me but other than that, perfect!!
