Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2013
Very easy and very delicious! I used whole milk. I did have a little trouble at first, it seemed that the butter and cream cheese were never going to mix but I added a tbsp of flour and started adding the milk and it came together.

Glazed Meatloaf II

I made this as the recipe states and it is delicious. Next time I will tear the bread into smaller bits but otherwise I won't change a thing.

Caramel Snack Mix

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2012
This is very good. It's very crunchy which I like. I failed to stir it as it was cooling so I had to break it up a bit, but that was my fault so I give it 5 stars. I used peanuts instead of almonds because my husband doesn't like them.

I made this for Christmas eve dinner with my husband and it was delicious! I over beat the whipped cream frosting but what a nice recipe!

Special Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2012
This is perfect buttercream. I used butter flavored shortening and it was the best. I put it on the One Bowl Chocolate Cake III recipe.

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2011
Excellent cake. I thought I would try a trick I saw on TV and use cocoa in the greased pan instead of flour but it stuck a little. Next time I'll use flour. This will be my go-to chocolate cake recipe.

Mandarin Orange Cake I

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2010
I'm giving two stars because I followed the recipe exactly and the topping is entirely runny. I don't know why?! Tastes good but looks nothing like the picture (where the topping stays on the cake).

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2009
Good but slightly bland. I will make again but maybe add some garlic salt or paprika, just needed a little something else. I did like it better than the usual cream of mushroom soup/french fried onion stuff though.

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2009
My friends loved this. In fact my boyfriend who usually prefers stuffing out of the bird said this his new favorite stuffing. I did add the broth gradually and it did turn an interesting color (not quite gray but a funny brown, that might have been a result of the bread cubes, I used the packaged stuff). It was nice as far as not needing additional oven space also.

Candied Sweet Potatoes

These were delicious. I did cut back on the sugar per other reviewers and will cut back even more next time, they were just a little too sweet for me but other than that, perfect!!

I was a little unsure of this but it was very good. I did add a little more sugar and soy sauce.

Curry-Coconut Shrimp

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2009
I was a little disappointed in this recipe. I followed it exactly and there was not nearly enough sauce and what little sauce there was was very thick. I ended up adding more coconut milk to compensate and that helped some.

This is an excellent recipe. I will use this filling as my basic cheesecake from now on. I loved the "turtle" part of it but will try it with different toppings!

Precious Pineapple Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2009
this is simple and delicious. the only things i changed: used 9x13 pan (because i don't have three round pans and others said it fell apart, which i can see happening because it's so moist!) and i sprinkled nuts on top of frosting rather than in it (i though it would look nicer). it was wonderful and everyone loved it. thanks for sharing!

Perfect! The cayenne gives it a little kick. I served with a dill sauce and mushroom risotto and roasted asparagus. My guests loved it!

Gourmet Mushroom Risotto

This recipe is perfect as is. I used the origional amount of mushrooms and added some sun-dried tomatoes at the end, only because I had them on hand and wanted to use them up.
