Banana Crumb Muffins

I'd make these again with OUT the crumb topping. The topping made them too sweet and it wasn't crumbly, it was almost soggy. I added dark chocolate chunks. They suspended just fine and the batter held them well.

Chunky Cheesecake Brownies

i made these in comparison with a David L. recipe I found on another blog-- these were the winners. They are delicious. I halved the cream cheese mixture and it was still plenty. I will make again. FYI- bake time was closer to 45+ min.

Yummy Lemon Salmon Burgers

Delicious! I followed the recipe as original. Be careful if you don't love citrusy flavors, this packs a lemon punch... other then that, wonderful/easy/simple/good for you.

Pineapple Angel Food Cake I

It is a bit denser then traditional angel food cake... but I liked it. My cake did not fall. This is the method/changes I made: -Drained the Pineapple, discarded (drank) the juice -Added 1 cup of Mango nectar (other reviewers complained of lackluster flavors- this worked, it is totally flavorful!) - Baked on 350 for 30 min. The top is a bit more brown then normal, but my cake is perfectly cooked. Any less time would have been too less. -Cooked upside down (helps prevent falling during the cool down time) Some tips: -Don't over beat, this will cause an even more dense cake. I hand folded the mix together and then whipped for about 40 seconds -Cooling upside down is important, try not to hit or bang the pan around, that will cause it to fall faster I gave this four stars because it was VERY easy and VERY quick. I knocked a star off because it is a temperamental cake that needs tweaking. P.S. I plan on serving this with mango fool.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

It could have been the sauce brand I used, but this was WAY too salty and vinegary for me to like it. Also, it was just kinda like a fat fest of cheap stuff. Could modify it to be non-canned chicken and about 1/2 less sauce and maybe it would be better?

World's Best Lasagna

I use turkey, and use only a pound of meat-- I dont like the meat too much and find that with the meat reduction, it is more moist. I made it once with the full meat amount and it was a bit dry.

Absolutely the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

I usually use more chips then the recipe calls for, and I add nuts. I use this as my base cookie, and then alternate the chips/fruit/nuts that I add. If I refrigerate the dough a half hour before baking, I get better results.

Delicious-- I grilled mine on some sturdy foil. It was so good. I reduced the oil a bit, just enough to spread out enough to coat the fish.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

This was delicious--- make sure you make a double crust because it makes a great deal of filling. The taste was five stars for me, but it was a bit runny and not pretty. Thus, I knocked a star off for look/texture.

Caramel Popcorn

Great recipe. I used various suggestions from previous reveiwers and it turned out wonderful. 3 bags of microwave popcorn- natural (not butter flavor, otherwise its too greasy) Baked in those turkey foil tins. The dish was deep enough so I could stir without spillage and also then I could have less clean up (since they are disposable). Didn't reduce butter like others suggested, but easily could have. It is rich enough with out all the butter. Go ahead and half it.

Bodacious Broccoli Salad

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

These should be called "Big, FLAT, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies". That said, they were tasty. Not the best I have ever had, but still pretty good. I had to add about 1/8 cup of flour to the recipe, or else they would have ran together before even baking.
