THIS RECIPE IS AMAZING!!!! So much easier than traditional fondant and quite a bit less expensive! I made 3 batches. The first 2 I did by hand & it was kinda messy of course. Then I read the reviews & greased my kitchen aid w/ criso & used the dough hook. 2 bowls of dishes no mess at all I added all the sugar in the mixture instead of kneading a cup in by hand, the mixer can handle it. I sprayed my fondant mat w/ pam when I rolled out, it was just perfect, no problem tranferring it to the cake. It did bubble a bit on the cake in the back but it was a humid warm day & we didnt have AC on yet. For my cake decorations I made a batch w/ a bit more sugar & less marshmallow so it would be stiffer. Worked like a charm. Play with your extracts!!! I did 3 tsps lemon into one 2 tsps raspberry into anoter and 3 tsp orange extract into the 3rd. This is one fondant that you can actually eat, though I must say my kids love it way more than the adults who (unlike kids) dont think marshmallows are the best thing since sliced bread.
