Hot Artichoke Spinach Dip

This was fantastic! I have had the same taste & quality in a restaurant. I opted not to use the blender to chop the artichoke hearts and cheese; instead I mixed them by hand which was just fine. I also increased the garlic, but next time would use even more (1/2 tsp is seriously not enough!!). Served with sliced baguette bread & whole-wheat tortilla chips. De-lish!!!!

Chicken Tikka Masala

Fantastic! The only thing I changed was the amount of salt... 7 tsp of salt is OVERKILL!! Definitely add salt to your taste, not the recommended amount.

Garlic Mashed Potatoes Secret Recipe

WOW... these were amazing! I scaled the recipe down to 8 & it turned out great! I added milk to make them creamier. I also took some suggestions that were posted about reducing the amount of garlic (wished I hadn't, but oh well!). I also used a little less Romano cheese than called for as it's quite a strong cheese. I added the cheese after they were mashed to avoid any gumminess. The entire family raved about them!!

Quick Cantonese Sauce

This sauce was different, but good. I found it be both sweet & salty....a taste I am not use to. I did find the salt a little over-powering at first (I don't think it needs the extra 1/2 tsp as the soy sauce has plenty of salt already!). I would try again.

Mexican Beef Supreme

This recipe was darn good! I used ground beef as opposed to 'beef stew meat', and decided not to serve it with rice & beans... but instead with bite size tortilla chips! (which could could also double for an appetizer for potlucks etc.). Hmmm, not a bad idea!!! I added sour cream added as a garnish later. Yum, yum!

Beef Pot Roast

Excellent!! This was THE best pot roast I have ever made. Fantastic flavor, nice & juicy! Searing in the juices before cooking the meat makes all the difference!

Great recipe! I made 2 modifications...used diced tomotoes instead of tomato juice & mixed beans instead of pinto beans. Took it to a potluck dinner & it was a hit!! Thanks George!

Cajun Chicken Pasta

This recipe was fantastic! I made a few modifications but it still tasted great. I used light cream instead of heavy & used fresh garlic as opposed to garlic powder. It was quite liquidy (not saucey), so if I were to use light cream again I would probably only use 3/4 to 1 cup. I will definitely make this again!!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

These were good cookies! I scaled down the recipe to 36 servings which was more than enough. I accidentally used baking powder instead of soda but luckily it didn't seem to make any difference. I also used white chocolate chips which made them even better! I will definitely make these again!

The Best Banana Bread

I don't think you can do a whole lot to mess this recipe up. I was only able to scrounge up 2 bananas & then realized I didn't have a loaf pan! So, I made 6 muffins out of the batter (which was pretty gooey because of the lack of bananas I'm sure). Put them in the oven for the recommended time & they came out pretty good. Still lots of banana flavor! I will make again but ensure I have the correct items!

Best Marinara Sauce Yet

This was tasty, although I made a few modifications... I added ground beef, red & green peppers ,celery (veggies added within the last 10 min so they stayed crunchy)& I tripled the garlic! So good!! I can't go back to store bought sauce again!

Fluffy French Toast

Not too bad. My husband loved it... thought it was very tasty & fluffy. I found it be quite dense even though I used regular (thick) sliced bread. Personally, I found the cinnamon overpowered the rest of the ingredients. Next time I think I would cut out the cinnamon completely.
