Cranberry Walnut Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2010
I've had the breadmaker for about a year and this is the best thing I've made! It rose nice and high, was light and fluffy with a great flavor and texture. We love it with cream cheese!

Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressing

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2010
Wonderful. I used Splenda rather than white sugar. It was super simple and made the Blueberry Walnut Salad from this site beyond wonderful. Thank you for this simple recipe - we will be making it often!!

Blueberry Walnut Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2010
This is one of the best salads I have had. Talk about greater than the sum of its parts - I couldn't believe how nicely all the flavors blended. I made a homemade Raspberry vinaigrette, using Splenda, and added red onion and served with grilled chicken on top. Wonderful!!!

Amish Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2008
This was a hit for Christmas breakfast. I love most breakfast casseroles but have a family member who does not so we had done simple eggs for several years and I decided to try again. This was perfect! I used 11 eggs and added salt, pepper and a little garlic salt. That was just enough flavor for all my picky eaters. Very nice texture, the potatoes are a wonderful addition and you have no idea there is cottage cheese in there. Also quite simple so this recipe is a keeper.

Cran-Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2008
Great way to eat broccoli. I took other reviewers suggestions and doubled the syrup (I used sugar free) and the sweetness was just right for us. The slaw in the store had carrots which I am avoiding right now, so I made my own by shredding 1 lb of broccoli in my food processor - really nice, everyone enjoyed it!!

Poppyseed Dressing

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2007
We love this dressing. We use it on the Spinach, Peaches and Pecans recipe on this website and it is our favorite salad. Because we avoid sugar, I substituted Splenda and it was marvelous.

Spinach Salad with Peaches and Pecans

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2007
We are in LOVE with this recipe. It is so much greater than the sum of its parts. Who would think so few ingredients could make such an impact. The first night we ate so much of it we were too full for the rest of our dinner, so the next time I made it I grilled some chicken to serve on top and that was our dinner - very yummy! I used Paula's Poppyseed Dressing recipe from this website and it was fantastic. We avoid sugar so I substituted Splenda in the dressing recipe and we all loved it! One time I was out of pecans so I used walnuts and it was just great - the important part is the toasting. Thanks so much for this new staple in our house. Edited to add that I have now tried it with grilled steak on it as well. We will use this every way we can think of.

Pistachio Crusted Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2007
Love this! We all did. I had to tweak it as we are on South Beach. I used whole wheat bread crumbs (one slice of WW bread in the chopper worked perfectly) and I used sugar free maple syrup instead of honey. The maple smell filled the air as it was cooking and was heavenly. The chicken came out moist and the coating was crunchy and a perfect blend of sweet and spicy (not hot, just flavorful). Thank you for this quick easy wonderful recipe.

Oatmeal Pancake

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2006
This was a real treat after 3 weeks on South Beach! But we would enjoy it even if we were not. The pancake has a wonderful flavor and was perfect with sugar free syrup. I used 2 whole eggs and a pinch of nutmeg. With its hardy, oatmeal flavor, I think it would be perfect with apples - I'll try that next time!

Gazpacho II

Reviewed: May 8, 2006
Was searching for something to match that a my favorite restaurant and this did it! Thank you this great and easy recipe. We made 2 minor changes. The store had no chives, so we just skipped them. We used V-8 instead of regular tomato juice.

BBQ Chicken Pizza II

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2005
This matched or exceeded my hopes. I have a favorite local restuarant that serves my favorite BBQ chicken pizza of all time. Other restaurants always disappoint. This recipe means I can have my all-time favorite meal right at home - it tastes just the same and was very very easy and quick. And, my family, who doesn't even order this at the restaurant loved it too.

It is true they are a lot like the Girl Scout cookies, which I have always loved. But the are MUCH BETTER! Because they are chewy, not hard.

Butterscotch Bread Pudding

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2005
Really good. Very easy to do and we loved the flavor and texture. I used fresh bread and it didn't matter. I added pecans to the top about half way through baking (I had forgotten earlier) and it was a really nice touch. Will definitely make this often.
