Smoky Cod and Parsnip Chowder

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2006
Fantastic. Never quite enough liquid, though - we add water to make it a bit more "soup-ey".

Rockfish with Crab and Old Bay Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2008
Restaurant quality. The fish took on the crab flavor & was very good to those of us who aren't huge fish fans. Will serve for dinner guests! *We didn't have chives so we left them out.

Spaghetti Sauce II

FanTAStic. My husband, who doesn't even like spaghetti, had 2 servings & we all fought for the leftovers. Restaurant worthy.

High end restaurant quality. I'm not a fish person but I absolutely loved it. SERIOUSLY impress guests with this one.

Squash Casserole I

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2006
YUM!!! Some might find it just a tad too "sweet" for something not dessert, but if you don't mind things like sweet potatoes, etc. you'll like this. EXCELLENT.

Grandma's Famous Salmon Cakes

We added crushed saltines (about 20) for texture. GREAT! I'm not a fish eater but enjoyed this dish. A Keeper.

Sloppy Joe Sandwiches

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2007
Honestly, it tastes about the same as the stuff in the can. Good, though, when you're jonesing for sloppy joes.

Cucumber Sandwiches II

I'd try something besides the packet of Italian dressing - I think that made the flavor too predictable.

Green Beans with Bread Crumbs

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2006
Very good, though I'm not so sure the kids would like it any more than any other green bean variation... It is, after all, pretty spicey.

Baked Asparagus with Balsamic Butter Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2006
A tad salty but still very good. I've made it twice - the second time I used a little more butter & a little less soy sauce.

Slow Cooker Chicken with Mushroom Wine Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2005
Delicious. The recipe calls for breast "halves", which was a bit confusing to us. We doubled the recipe and used 4 breasts - the recipe as written didn't have nearly enough sauce...

Curried Coconut Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2006
After reading the reviews we made a few adjustments.... We left out the tomato sauce, rinsed/drained the tomatoes, added a tad more coconut milk, an extra clove of garlic, 1/2 tsp more curry powder, a red bell pepper and 3 small potatoes. We also used less chicken (only 3 breasts). Turned out GREAT.
