All American Roast Beef

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2014
This roast was delicious! Followed the directions exactly and was rewarded with a beautiful, medium-rare (more on the rarer side), flavorful and tender roast. You definitely need to cook this roast on a rack, so the heat can circulate freely around the roast & don't skimp on the resting time! It was a big hit with my family and tonight we will use the leftovers for French dips. Thank you for a fantastic & easy recipe!

The Best Lemon Bars

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2013
The best lemon bars, ever. Lemon bars have always been one of my favorite desert bars but I had never tried making them til I saw this recipe and how easy it seemed. From the wonderful buttery crust to the greatness of the lemon, these were fantastic. I can't believe how simple they were to make and that I had all of the ingredients on hand. I did use 3/4 cup fresh lemon juice and a tablespoon of zest and added the extra tablespoon of flour, so it would set properly. Turned out perfect and were a huge hit with my family. Will definitely be making these again (and again). Thank you for such a great recipe!

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2013
I am always looking for tasty pork recipes as my husband is really picky when it comes to pork. I hit a homerun with this recipe, however! I used boxed cornbread stuffing mix that I had on hand and sauteed some garlic, chopped onion and Apple (1 Apple diced) and added to the prepared stuffing. delicious! Thank you for the recipe!

Actually Delicious Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: May 21, 2013
WOW!These burgers were fantastic! My husband and extremely picky 7 year old loved them. Followed directions as listed, but did add the montreal steak seasoning (as another reviewer suggested) when we put them on the grill. ALSO, my husband did cook these on the BBQ, however, he did cook them on a layer of tin foil and they held up perfectly. Will definitely be cooking these up again..and again...

These are incredible- I always have to make a double batch! I smother them in Brown sugar and let them sit overnight, they turn out perfect every time.

This has become a family favorite! The sweet and tangy flavors even get my picky 6 year old fighting for the last "cuke" in the bowl!

Strawberry Torte

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2011
Incredible! This cake will definately impress with not only it's beautiful presentation but also with the taste, scrumptious! Used the shorter cake-like ladyfingers in the 3 oz package which I found (finally!) in the bakery dept. of grocery store. Used 2 (3 oz) packages. I did follow some advice given in the reviews and did not strain the strawberries but added whole package of frozen berries to saucepan with 1 cup sugar and then pureed in blender, returned to pan and added cornstarch mixed with water. Allowed to cool for a couple hours and it did thicken. I did add some of this to the middle layer. I allowed the cake to chill for 24 hours before removing the springform pan, and it cut and served beautifully! Will definately be making this again, Thank you!
