Chicken Souvlaki with Tzatziki Sauce

This was fantastic! I did it as written and it was a hit in my house. Followed the recipe exactly. I made brown rice with it and had a veggie. I also had pita, tomatoes, and red onions for those that wanted it. Is on the keeper list.

Cheeseburger Soup I

Without looking at my recipe from Taste of Home, it looks the same but I use land o' lakes american cheese. We love it. It's actually my son's favorite and must ask for it at least once a week. I often make a huge pot and freeze and he'll eat it after school and on weekends. Everyone I've brought a bowl to loves it and for ladies night we each had to make a soup for dinner and I substituted the beef for ground turkey since one of the ladies does not eat red meat. Just as good, couldn't tell the difference.

Hearty Turkey Soup with Parsley Dumplings

This soup was delicious!!!! I made it as is with the exception of using half a rutabaga because I never ate one before. They're delicious. My husband didn't like the rutabaga but he's like a child...I think his tooth touched it and then he declared that he didn't like it. He did like the soup (doesn't like dumplings either, but that's okay). I put in fine egg noodles but DH thought it needed bigger noodles...I disagree but that's not important. Anyway, great soup and fattening but I'll just make it once a year after Thanksgiving. Thanks for the recipe!!

Chuckwagon Stew

I did a few things differently but not enough to make the recipe change. The amount of the meat was different because it's what I had. I did a pound of the cubed beef and a pound of the smoked sausage. I didn't have a can of BBQ baked beans so I used a regular can of baked beans and added a little bit of BBQ sauce. I also added carrots so there was a veggie in there. I loved it. My husband thought it didn't have flavor which is wrong. It's just that there was too much of the BBQ flavor and so it tasted like a BBQ meal. Next time I won't add the BBQ sauce. My son also like it. Will definately make again. It's so easy. Oh, and by the way...I'm not comfortable with putting most meat in the crockpot without browning first. I like to get rid of some of the fat and grease, which is what I did with the beef in this recipe. Thanks!

Slow Cooker Taco Soup

Great recipe! I only made one change and that was because I don't know what chili beans are so I used two cans of kidney beans. My 12 year old loved it...had two bowls. I topped each bowl with a dollop of sour cream and put some tortilla chips in the bowl. Terrific!! Will definately make again.
