Hungarian Mushroom Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2006
This is as good as everyone says, Rich creamy great for a cold autumn night. It is good just thew recipe says but next time I will cut the onions in half to maybe 1/2 cup of onions and also on the dill maybe 1 tsp(dill is strong) and maybe let folks add their own sour cream. But all in all this was absolutely wonderful. It's a keeper.. Thanks for sharing.

Creamy Kielbasa and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2006
I started this soup early before I went to work put on low heat and it was wonderful. I did add one item and that was a small pinch of dill. I thought dumplings might also be good with this. SO I opened a can of biscuits, cut them into quarters and dropped them into the soup. They were great.

Best Ever Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2006
I did change this recipe some what. I added a cup of sour cream and 2 tsp of mayo and I chopped one yellow onion and one garlic clove cooked them together and added 1 tsp of Basil till this was transparent. Once I put the final product into the baking pan. I put slices of Mozerella cheese and corn flakes all over the entire dish. Baked it for 40 minutes on 350. My husband and daughter raved and raved about it.This was excellent.

Slow Cooker Cheesy Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2005
These were bland, so I called my friend who has a recipe that I had made before for these type of potatoes. So I added part of her recipe to it and what a difference this made. Wow. I added to this original recipe 1/2 cup of sour cream, 1 can of cream of chicken soup, 1 green onion (diced),and 1 stick of butter. Wow, This gave it so more flavor.

Candied Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2005
This was a great recipe, it is alittle sweat but still very good. It's a change of paste on chicken. I did put a can of sweat potatoes in it and my kids still didn't care for the sweat potatoes but they raved about the chicken dish.

Roasted Vegetables

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2005
This was wonderful. I wasn't sure about how to use the squash in it, so I cooked a small squash in the micro wave first for 8 minutes. It came out hot but not fully cooked yet. I cut it in half and scraped out the seeds and peeled it and then cut it up in large chunks plus I also added carrots, russet potatoes and a red onion. It turned out great. You could put any veggie in here and it would be wonderful. My family loved it. This is a keeper.
