Lemon Loaf

Really good recipe. I made them into mini muffins, baked for 20-25 mins. They are a little too sweet so go easy on the sugar in the mix. Added some cranberries and flax seed for more texture too.

Congo Bars I

I found these bars way too sweet and too mushy. Next time I would 1/2 the chocolate and add more flour.

Fresh Pear Pie

Honey Pineapple Chicken

Very basic recipe. How is it possible to brush juice onto chicken? I just used the juice and honey and cornstarch to make a sauce. Very ok recipe.

Banana Wheat Bread

You can't really go wrong with this recipe. I didnt have any veg oil, so i used margarine; didnt have honey so used maple syrup; didnt have wheat germ, so i used wheat bran. Tossed in choco chips, raisins and lots of nuts. The bread didnt rise as much as I wanted still delish.

Caramel Shortbread Squares

I doubled the recipe for a 9x13 dish, delicious indulgence BUT a few things: - too sweet: maybe use half the amount of caramel and chocolate (unsweetened choco chips- I added some pecans) - shortbread was too crumbly, use less flour - cutting into small bars was even too rich, I had to cut them into bite size slices - lots of chilling time required, for each layer to harden

Very simple, easy ingrediants to make a flavourful dish. I would use 2% milk or more of thickening agent as it was still quite runny.

Couscous with Chickpeas and Carrots

This recipe was really easy to make. I found the broth to be fairly salty so maybe use 25% water to 75% broth. I added corn kernals for a touch of sweetness.
