They were great, but I'm glad I heeded those reviewers who thought they needed to be sweeter! I used freshly picked mulberries, which aren't too sweet by themselves, and I added about 1/8 cup white sugar and drizzled honey on top.

Everyone loved these, but I had a hard time rolling out the dough after the recommended hour. It was much better after chilling overnight, but I still used a lot of flour in the roll-out process.

Double Chocolate Biscotti

Very good. I saved the semi-sweet chocolate chips, and after the biscotti were done, I melted the chips and spread the melted chocolate over one half of the tops of the cookies.

Chocolate Mocha Cake I

Very moist! I only used a half cup of coffee by mistake and I couldn't tell it was there, but I think it did richen the chocolate up a bit.

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

Wild Rice Casserole

This wasn't bad, but it was pretty bland and it took a lot longer than an hour for the rice to cook. The veggies, however, were limp by the time I took the dish out of the oven. I wouldn't want to make this one again.

Blueberry Nut Oat Bran Muffins

I changed the recipe around a bit and they had a great flavor. Even my pickier friends said they were fabulous! Instead of oat bran, I used 3/4 cup rolled oats and 3/4 cup wheat flour, and for egg substitute I mashed up half a banana. I also didn't put anything on top and I took out the nuts. The texture was a little dense, but they still tasted light. An excellent vegan recipe!

Best Marinara Sauce Yet

Too salty. Other than that, though, really good! I liked the texture. I only had one can of tomatoes and no paste, so I put in a diced fresh tomato and a small can of tomato sauce. I also used way less oil than recommended. It worked pretty well.
