Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Can we just talk about this sauce for a second? Smooth, creamy and full of a sophisticated depth of flavor. I could have drank it. Though I was hesitant to make this recipe without baking it, it was perfect. Don't change a thing about this one folks. Yes it's an indulgence in the fat/calorie department, but it's worth it. I loved every bit of it. You have to try this one!

French Onion Soup I

I think this is my 2nd time reviewing this because I just made this soup again yesterday and it knocked my socks off. The only change I made was a bit less wine. I can't wait to make it for a potluck because people will be blown away. So easy, so delicious. Best ever and I've had TONS of french onion soup.

Angela's Awesome Enchiladas

These were awesome. I took a risk and made them for a get together with our friends and their kids and even the picky kids (and one picky dad) scarfed them up! I served with guacamole, s. cream, shredded lettuce and diced tomato. They even said they were better than the authentic Mexican restaurant they frequent. I would definitely give this more than 5 if I could.

Old Fashioned Coconut Cream Pie

Delish...I made with fat free half and half and fat free whipped topping. I never missed the fat from the regular stuff. So fast and easy too. I will definitely make again.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

All I can say is WOW!!! This was the very first pie I've ever made and I'd say it is definitely a success. Very easy to make and out of this world delicious. If you are using a different apple pie recipes you are nuts!

Fresh Tomato Salsa

Delicious salsa! I gave it a 4 because I had to add garlic to get it perfect. We also used a mixture of jalapenos and banana peppers because we had no serano. My husband and I were both pretty pleased with the outcome.

Balsamic Bruschetta

I've been making this for about 3 years now and I don't think I ever reviewed this fantastic recipe. Everytime I make this it's a hit...even with my hubby who really doesn't like tomatoes. I used baguette when I made it today..toasted it...drizzled with more olive oil...put bruschetta on top...returned to toaster oven on broil with a sprinkling of mozzarella. Couldn't be more delicious or easy.

Chicken and Sausage with Bowties

Do not skip the red wine...it truly makes it! I use a semi-sweet red and the aroma is out of this world. I had to have cheese so I grated fresh parmesan on top and it was delicious. I also only used 1/2 the recommended amount of pasta. Delicios! Delicious! Delicious!

Glazed Meatloaf I

I thought it was absolutely delicious and my husband said he'd pass on it next time. I loved everything about it except that next time I may cut back a little on the brown sugar. I'm going to make a loaf for myself and vacuum pack it. Thanks for the recipe!

Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream

Great! We loved this in my house and I also suggest adding the grated parm like another member suggested. It gives it a great flavor. This will be on our rotation once we use up the frozen portions. Thanks!

I thought this recipes was okay. Ther is a thin line between the perfect amount and too much nutmeg and too much ruins it. I don't know if I will make this again.

Tortilla Soup I

Amazing! I have only eaten tortilla soup twice before and I will be eating it often now! Next time I will add more onion rings and jalapenos. The overall flavor is delicious! Definitely a keeper.

This is a great recipe for many reasons. The flavors are all satisfying and rich, it will make great leftovers, and it is fast to make. I was skeptical of the sour cream but once I tried it I found it gave it just the right amount of zing. Yummy!

Garlic Chicken Fried Chicken

My husband liked this more than I did. I think the recipe should specify how thick your chicken should be in order for it to cook thoroughly. Mine had to go into the oven for about a half hour after I fried it and after that it was not crunchy. The breading was delicious and I definitely used more garlic. Next time I will know to make sure I pound them thin.

Chicken Stuffed Shells

I didn't make this recipe but I wanted to add what I do with mine that are very similar. I add 1 cup Miracle Whip and a couple handfuls cheddar cheese to the stuffing and chicken mixture. And I don't make that mixture of soups on the stove. I just spread 1 can condensed cream of chicken on top and 1 can on top of the shells once you line the pan with them. You may need to add a couple tbsp. water. The Miracle Whip gives it a delicious tang.

Coconut Shrimp I

My husband and I both thought these were delicious...very similar to the coconut shrimp served at a favorite restaurant of ours. My hubby does not like shrimp AT ALL unless it is prepared this way and he really did enjoy it. We like the marmalade sauce just as much as the shrimp!

Fettuccine Alfredo V

I made this recipe about a year ago and it is the one I always use when I make alfredo. I forgot how garlic-y it was so hopefully next time I remember to cut down to 2 or 3 cloves. I love this sauce!
