Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2012
This is the only chicken noodle soup that I make now. The absolute perfect recipe. Thank you for sharing.

Donut Muffins

This recipe was a huge hit with my husband as well as my nieces and nephews...they call them donut holes and ate every one of them! I had to make a second batch!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2010
I made a 1 crust pie as I normally do for an apple pie - I make a butter/brown sugar/flour crumb topping. My husband and brother loved it!! My husband asked if he were to peel and slice apples if I would make this more often, so definitely a winner! As suggested, I mixed the 'sauce' with the apples prior to putting them in the pie crust. Turned out beautifully!

Down Home Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2008
The 5 Star rating is based on following the June 5, 2005 review by Breeze. I made the recipe with the alterations exactly as Breeze suggested and it was absolutely fantastic! My significant other said it was the best homemade macaroni and cheese he had ever had...even better than his mom and grandma's which is definitely saying something. I do not know how this recipe is as written, but with the alterations compiled by Breeze, it was superb!

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2008
OMG!!! These were awesome! As so many users suggested, I used the Frank's brand hot sauce. I purchased the XTRA HOT version, as we love our spices! I used half Frank's and half butter to make the sauce. These were better than Hooters according to my brother and boyfriend. Definitely a keeper!!! Oh, and for those of you who, like myself, don't have a very big deep fryer, fry the first batch, coat in the sauce, and put on a lined cookie sheet in a 200 degree oven to keep warm. This will also help the wings to soak up the sauce....MMMMMMMMMM GOOD!!! Thanks for the recipe!!

Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2007
I did not peel the potatoes, I think that the skin provides a great texture and color. These were the best mashed potatoes that I have ever eaten! The cat is out of the bag...I will never be able to get away with instant mashed potatoes again!!!

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2007
YUM YUM YUM YUM!!!!! That is all that I can say! Everyone loved it and my boyfriend and brother ask for it every weekend! The only thing that I changed was that I used diced tomatoes with green chiles in them just because it was easier. Everything else I followed as written! Served over Fritos, sour cream, and cheddar cheese....AWESOME!!!

I give this 5 stars because my brother, who is very particular about his stroganoff, said that this was better than Grandma used to make! A definite keeper!

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2007
My coworkers did not believe that I made these! They were wonderful! I used the Walmart/Sams Club brand peanut butter cups because I think they are more creamy than the Reeses cups. I followed the advise of others and froze the peanut butter cups before putting them in the cookies, and I am glad that I did!! I used mini muffin trays as directed, and they all turned out perfectly matched!! Thanks so much for this recipe, it has been a huge hit!

Hello Dollies I

I used a little more coconut than called for, and a little less milk...they taste just like my Grandma used to make for Christmas! I took some in to work, and everyone asked me for the recipe!!! Thanks so much!

Make Ahead Manicotti

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2007
This recipe was definitely a hit with me and my family!! The prep was easy! I did follow the suggestion of a few other reviewers and used 2 jars of sauce, and I am glad that I did! One jar never would have covered it. I also ommitted the spinach and added 1 lb of lean browned ground beef as I am feeding two men that want their meat! They both loved it and this recipe has become a staple...I have to make it at least twice a month!! Thanks for the recipe and all the great suggestions from the other reviewers!

Shepherd's Pie Complete

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2006
I used two ready made pie crusts in 9" deep pie dishes instead of the 9x13 baking dish to help it hold together for serving. It definitely was a hearty meal! Very tasty. As I am only cooking for two, next time I will cut the recipe in half - just enough to make 1 deep dish pie.

Chicken Florentine Casserole

My Meatloaf

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2005
I stumbled across this recipe when I was looking for something quick and easy and different from the normal rotating meals I seem to make. I doubled the recipe (as I am feeding two grown men and myself) so that there would be lunch leftovers and used slightly less bread than it would have called for, but other than that I followed it to a "T". It was an instant hit, my boyfriend loved it(he said it was, and I quote "Da Bomb") and my brother requested that I make it at least once a week! It was even better the second time around for lunch the following day!
