Jagerschnitzel

A keeper and due to be a family fave! The only change I made was to use fresh Crimini mushrooms instead of canned. ( I don't like canned) So yummy that even the picky ones enjoyed it!

A keeper & easy to tweak for picky eaters. I love the red pepper much better than green!

Love these! I am still tweaking the cinnamon sugar ratio, but still really good as is!

Cinnamon Plum Jam

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2008
Tastes delicious! However for reasons unknown my jam didn't set. So it's Cinnamon Plum Syrup. I am unsure if it's because of my high altitude or what. I followed the recipe exactly so I am clueless. It makes wonderful syrup though!

Fish in Foil

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2004
I am not a fish lover, but my husband enjoys catching (and eating) fish. This recipe was simple to make, and had a good flavor. I omitted the jalapeno (kids), sprinkled the inside and outside with the seasonings, and lined the inside with lemon slices. I had to bake the 6 fish around 40 minutes. I actually manged to eat nearly the whole fish. ( A HUGE thing for me) Thanks Denyse, this one's a keeper!

Grandma's Doughnuts

I didn't care for these. My kids thought they were OK, but didn't want me to make them again. They are very easy, they just taste different from yeast or cake doughnuts.

Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2001
This recipe replaced my dad's long used one! I like a sweeter white bread, so this recipe was perfect for me.It also makes wonderful Mormon scones! After the first rising roll out half of the dough 1/2 inch thick, cut into squares and fry in hot oil. Serve with honey butter or butter and jam. A family fave! Thanks!
