About this Cook
I love food. I love to eat it, I love to make it, I love to make it pretty. I live in a fairly small town with my sweetheart, work at the local grocery store (and spend most of my paycheck there) and am a mom of three amazing kids, two of which have special needs. (Oppositional Defiant Disorder, or as we call him our odd child & high functioning autism in the other. Just in case you wanted to know)
My favorite things to cook
Sweets, oh how I love to bake...and then eat what I bake. I also really love making new and interesting meals for my family. It's how I show them I love them! I'm always on the lookout for new recipes, and I usually tweak them a bit.

A keeper and due to be a family fave! The only change I made was to use fresh Crimini mushrooms instead of canned. ( I don't like canned) So yummy that even the picky ones enjoyed it!

Quick and Easy Stuffed Peppers
A keeper & easy to tweak for picky eaters. I love the red pepper much better than green!

Fish in Foil
I am not a fish lover, but my husband enjoys catching (and eating) fish. This recipe was simple to make, and had a good flavor. I omitted the jalapeno (kids), sprinkled the inside and outside with the seasonings, and lined the inside with lemon slices. I had to bake the 6 fish around 40 minutes. I actually manged to eat nearly the whole fish. ( A HUGE thing for me) Thanks Denyse, this one's a keeper!
