We have a pot-luck reunion BBQ every year, and we each always seem to bring the same dish every year...
My cooking triumphs
I make the best risotto (from this site; Gourmet mushroom risotto), and it was always something I was scared to try... yes... because of Hell's Kitchen, and they always mess up the risotto!
My cooking tragedies
There are so many but one will haunt me for the rest of my life... I attempted to bake a cake. It seemed so simple- the middle was uncooked and the edges were crispy and will aways be remebered as Ker's Grand Canyon Cake.

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
Very tasty. For this recipe, I omit the cloves, and use 1 cup of butter.

Fajita Marinade I
fantastic!! I marinaded boston steaks for this recipe and thinly sliced the meat while it was still frozen. This will make it into the regular rotation. I also cut way back on the liquid smoke to make it toddler friendly
