Very good! As with many other reviewers, I added a cup of water, and 2 tbs of Worcestershire sauce.

Amazing! We added some Triple Sec and sparkling water, and they were a hit! Also good as written, and pretty strong.

Butternut Squash Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2013
This was pretty good, but I wouldn't make it for guests. I only used one pkg of cream cheese because I tried it after one, and it already tasted cream cheesy. Also, I didn't have marjoram, so I used herbes de provence.

Healing Cabbage Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2013
This is a nice basic soup that you can cater to your taste. I added julienne carrots, oregano, basil, italian seasoning, and a dash of cayenne.

Moroccan-Style Stuffed Acorn Squash

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2013
This is good, and looks impressive, but the flavor of the filling was bland. Next time I'll add additional spices.

Excellent flavors! Next time I will consider doubling all of the spices to make it even more flavorful.

Baked Kale Chips

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2013
Very good! Parchment paper is critical for making them crispy. I shook the kale in a zip lock with the olive oil to evenly disburse it. Worked much better than drizzling, which I did the first time I made them.

Apple and Onion Dressing

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2012
This was excellent! The only change I made was to substitute Craisins for the raisins because I don't like raisins.

Toasted Garlic Bread

The topping is very good. It didn't take as long as the recipe stated under the broiler for me.

Blackened Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2012
This is a very good rub. I followed the recipe as stated, except I double everything except for the chicken after discovering that the recipe didn't make very much. Next time, I won't double the cayenne if I make it for guests because it was pretty spicy. This would be good barbequed too!

Cocktail Meatballs

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2012
These were great! I followed the recipe as stated, except I made my own chili sauce rather than using a jar. I used "Chili Sauce" from this website. I made the meatballs and sauce ahead of time, put them in the fridge, then threw everything in the Crockpot for 2 hours on low. I think they would be very good with ground too.

French Onion Dip From Scratch

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2012
This was quite good. I let it sit for about 6 hours in the fridge before serving. I added a few dashes of Worcestershire after trying the recipe as written. Worcestershire definitely helped enhance the flavor and color. My husband says it doesn't beat Heluva Good Dip, but it does beat onion soup mix dip.
