Simple Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2008
This recipe was really quick and easy to make, but tasted great...after reading other's suggestions, and catering to my family's taste, these are the modifications I made: - chop up and onion and throw it in with the beef while it's cooking (next time I will use two for more onion) - after draining beef, double the mushroom soup, add two cans of slice mushrooms, and add one soup can of milk - i added about a cup of sour cream, don't worry if people don't like it, my sister hates it, and mixed in with the other ingredients, it tasted great The extra soup and milk really made a nice sauce so when I served it over egg noodles, everything was coated perfectly. Thanks for an awesome recipe!

Campbell's Kitchen Beef Wellington

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2009
Absolutely amazing!! My dad had been craving beef wellington, so I thought I'd give this recipe a try. I ended up cutting the 2lbs of meat in half, and made 2 smaller wellingtons. I added a little onion salt and garlic salt to the meat before cooking, but other than that, followed the recipe exactly. Definitely use a meat thermometer to get the exact temp. I took mine out at 145 degrees, and the meat was cooked to perfection. Just a slight bit of pink in the center! Thanks for a great recipe!!

Chicken Rotini Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2008
I followed the recipe exactly as written except I halved it. It made a big enough pot for 4 people to have seconds, with just a little left over. I used campbell's broth with garlic and herbs, and also added the cooked noodles at the end, to prevent them from getting mushy! This was easy to make and tasted awesome, thanks!!!

Artichoke & Spinach Dip Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2007
Loved it!! I followed some of the others suggestions...I used the Classico garlic alfredo sauce, and I used an entire brick of cream cheese. I cooked the entire thing in the crockpot on low for a few hours, and just kept stirring it occasionaly. Then I set it on keep warm, and the entire family was helping themselves throughout the day! Definitely turns out better than some restaurants!!

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2013
Was looking for a beef stew recipe, and this one was pretty fantastic! Followed the recipe exactly as written, but threw in some mushrooms as well. Even with all the spices, I personally found it a little bland. I just added a little bit of pepper and garlic salt into my own bowl, and let others season to their own preference!

The Best Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2009
Turned out perfectly. Only changes I made were a splash of vanilla extract, and a little bit of cinnamon sprinkled over the top before I put it in the oven. Cooking time was right on...made a super moist loaf. Thanks for the great recipe!

Baked Pork Chops with Apple Raisin Stuffing

Reviewed: May 1, 2009
Stuffing turned out amazing. I used to packages (1 box) of stove top stuffing. The pork chops were plain in comparison. Definitely need to spice them up a bit, or maybe pour a little bbq sauce on them.

Oven Scrambled Eggs

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2008
I was looking for an easy way to free up some space on top of the stove while cooking breakfast, and this was it! The eggs turned out super fluffy, I just broke them up a bit with a spatula before serving to give the "fried" look. My only suggestion would be maybe to half the amount of butter, and spray the pan really well with PAM first. The edges of the pan would not come clean after putting through the dishwasher a couple times. Had to scrub with an SOS pad! Will definitely make again!

Pork Chops for the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2007
This recipe was quick and really easy to follow. I didn't plan ahead, and used frozen pork chops...I did double the sauce to make sure there was enough...still didn't quite cover them. I also turned the pork chops throughout the cooking time to make sure both sides were sitting in the sauce at some point. A definitely quick and easy supper for a busy family!

Sweet and Sour Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2013
I followed the recipe pretty much as written. My only issue was I couldn't flatten the meat enough. Since I don't have a meat tenderizer, I just used a large can of pears. :) After browning 5-6 minutes on each side, the pork didn't look quite done. After heating the sauce, I returned the meat to the pan for 15 minutes and covered it. I turned the meat over halfway through. Came out perfectly cooked and super juicy. Served over white rice with some extra sauce poured over top!!

French Toast II

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2008
Followed the recipe exactly, and turned out perfect. My dad and sister didn't notice there was brown sugar or nutmeg in them, but I figured it was just because they'd already drowned them in syrup!! Thanks for the awesome recipe!

Sweet and Sour Meatballs III

Had this at a housewarming party, so I decided to make it for Christmas Eve. Everyone liked it, but I wasn't a huge fan the second time around. Just a tip a friend gave me....don't smell the ingredients as you are mixing them...lol!

Crab Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2007
I was looking for a great pasta salad to use up the excessive amount of imitation crab I bought, and this one was amazingly delicious! Due to picky eaters in my family, I left out the cherry tomatoes, and the green pepper, and substituted by adding an extra 1/2 cup of broccoli, and a 1/2 cup of celery. The colour of the crab meat and veggies in this salad, make it appealing to the eye as well as the stomach!!

Baked Fettuccine Lasagna

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2007
A family favourite...the only change I make is too add an extra can of mushrooms, and also and extra can of soup...it makes the pasta a little more saucy!! I also omit the olives and peppers, due to picky people, but it still turns out great every time!

Bacon Wrapped Green Beans

Super easy, and cheap to make. I cut a whole pound of bacon down the center, grabbed a bag of frozen green beans, and that was it! Made 2 pans of the beans for our team baseball party which were gone in a matter of minutes! Thanks for the recipe!!

Juicy Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2012
Chicken came out amazing!! I rubbed the chicken with some olive oil and then rubbed it with a mixture of paprika, onion salt, and garlic salt. Skin was crispy and so tasty. Took a little longer than the hour and 15 minutes, but all in all a great recipe!
