Easy Sausage Gravy and Biscuits

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2011
I love and will only use Jimmy Dean Sausage. Just found this recipe, but have been making my Sausage Gravy this exact way for many years. I use the original roll sausage and after it is browned there is just the right amount of fat in the skillet, you don't have to drain, just stir in flour and go from there. I make this for my kids everytime they come home for a visit. Sausage Gravy, Biscuits & Scrambled Eggs: great for breakfast or supper.

G.G.'s Chocolate Sheet Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2011
When I ask my now grown kids what cake they want for their birthday, it's always been Texas Sheet Cake. I've been making this recipe for many many years. It always comes out great.

Grandpa's Classic Coney Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2011
Really great Coney Sauce. Didn't change anything. Almost a sweet and sour taste to it. Had some left over so I added it to some baked beans. That was great too. Thanks Sean!

My ex-husband called these Lighthouse Eggs. He started making these for our kids over 35 years ago. I need to start making them for my grandkids. Thanks for the reminder.

Grandpa Harry's Holiday Punch

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2012
Made for New Year's Day party. No rave reviews, but was enjoyed by some. Wish I'd added the pineapple juice suggested by someone else. Just didn't taste like a party punch to me.
