Dreamy Orange Cupcakes

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2014
They were just ok - I made them almost exact to recipe, and found that they were a lot of work, and the two different kinds of icing is probably not necessary. The orange had a slight artificial flavor, although they did taste like orange creamsicle.

Club Chicken Casserole

Pretty good! Didn't alter the recipe much, except for adding sauteed onion instead of bell pepper, but overall great dish.

Chocolate Bar Fondue

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2014
Excellent and easy recipe for fondue. Had girlfriends over for fondue night and they also loved it. Used leftover brewed coffee (1/3 C.) instead of the coffee powder and didn't add the water. Dipped pound cake, strawberries, marshmallows, green apples, pretzels, and Ruffles - success!

Black Chocolate Cake

Great mild chocolate cake that I made exacty as recipe states. Rich chocolate flavor and not too sweet. Similar to a mayonaise chocolate cake and will definitely make again.

Incredibly Delicious Italian Cream Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2014
Excellent recipe - I followed the recipe EXCEPT I used a 9x13 pan (greased and floured) and it was wonderful. Yes, it's dense, but this type of cake is, and I'm not a big fan of layered cakes, so everyone thought it was delicious.

Quick and Easy Cherry Bars

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2014
Great recipe, and I agree with previous review of using 3 c. flour, and the almond extract - 1/2 to 1 tsp. I also used 2 cans of cherry pie filling (premium if you can find it, since it has more cherries). The glaze that I use is 1/2 c. powered sugar, 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract, 1/4 tsp almond extract, and 1 Tbsp. milk - then drizzle over the top. This recipe is also great with ice cream. Good stuff!

Blueberry Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2012
Good stuff - I used a crushed pretzel crust on the bottom (same as the strawberry pretzel salad recipe) and it was great - lots of textures and tastes wonderful. I'm sure it would be fantastic with graham cracker crust also!

Oven-Roasted Asparagus

Love the recipe! Have made it quite a few times and it gives the asparagus a milder flavor. Worth a try!

Green Chili Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2012
Good stuff! Easy to prepare and has great flavor. I did not have Monterey Jack on hand so had to use shredded mozzarella, and it was great ~ I also used low fat sour cream.

Salad was pretty basic and tasted OK - didn't change the recipe. I would make again, but use a different dressing.

Chicken Florentine Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2011
Easy and excellent! I made similar changes as other users did - I cooked the chicken in the crock pot 4 hours on low (started frozen) with 1/2 stick butter and dry italian seasoning. I put fresh spinach (10 oz container) on the bottom of 9x13, layered fresh mushrooms, chopped chicken, sauce, and bacon pieces. Everyone loves it!

Rice Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2011
Excellent recipe, especially during the hot summer as a main dish, or a wonderful alternative to potato or macaroni salad. The only change I made was I used canned salmon (skinless/boneless) instead of tuna, otherwise everything else was the same. Good stuff.

Excellent recipe! Yes, it's a bit of work for mashed potatoes, but definitely worth it, especially for a nice steak dinner. They are good reheated the next day.

Cornbread Salad

This is awesome! I took it to a potluck and it was completely gone. It is a wonderful break from the usual suspect salads, and it has so many different flavors. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

Eggs Benedict Breakfast Pizza

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2011
Good stuff! My suggestion is to season your scrambled eggs very well, and the packaged hollandaise sauce can taste a little artificial. I cooked this as a cassarole, placing everything in a 9x13 pan instead of a pizza pan, and everything turned out fine. Would definitely make again. Thanks for the recipe!

Aaahh! Potato Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2011
Cooked according to recipe directions, and didn't change or follow other users suggestions. Soup seemed bland and not very flavorful, although I added some bacon and cheese which was suggested.
