Shrimp and Mushroom Linguini with Creamy Cheese Herb Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2006
Not much taste----I stayed true to the recipe; if I make it again, I'll play around with some flavoring.

Egg and Cheese Puffs

Followed the recipe exactly. Huge hit and will make these again and again. The leftover ones heated up in the microwave great too. If my kids were still at home, I would have made these for quick breakfasts before school.

Split the sugar brown and regular; used 1 T Cinnamon and 1 t Vanilla as suggested. Very easy to make and absolutely delicious! Really moist.

Zippy Egg Casserole

Family brunch for eight----evenly split gender-wise-----had our favorite bakery's donuts, large summer salad, along with this casserole-----my mistake? I should have made two of the casserole----a real hit!

Beer Dip I

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2006
I've made it several times---exactly as the recipe states----I do use finally shredded Cheddar; and I always make sure I refrigerate it overnight. Always a hit and it can't be any easier to make.

Crab Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2006
This is 5-star! I did take some of the suggestions and used 1T Old Bay Seasoning, 1/4C Colby Jack, and fresh crabmeat so my rating is with those small changes. It all starts with the base though!

Eggless Sweet Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2006
This was excellent and a huge hit from a family that isn't crazy about sweet potatoes! I did use 2 eggs beaten, canned sweet potatoes, less white sugar (1/4 cup) and less flour for the topping (1/4 cup). It will definitely become a family recipe!

Bagel and Cheese Bake

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2006
I tweaked it as per some suggestions (ie, more bacon, 14 eggs, assagio bagels and cheese)----it was eaten but no one thought it was anything special. I was glad I made it for a family brunch where the feedback was honest.

Rye Rounds

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2006
Very similar to what my husband's NaNa made and everyone gobbled up----we add 1-2 tsp. of Carroway seeds to give it a bit more flavor. It's a tried and true favorite.
